If you are looking for a courteous, professional electrician who care about customer service, than Do NOT even consider using Gridlink Electric in Concord. That is unless you like to be given a date and time, and continue to call and text them throughout the day, being told they are either on their way or give you another schedule time on the same day, and then NOT SHOW UP.
No courtesy call or text. The person I spoke to was Thomas. Unless you have time to wait all day and have a “Hack company” like this tell you they will be at your house to provide service and don’t show up, then by means look no further for the WORST and Piss Poor customer service from Gridlink.
They scheduled me a time slot between 2:00 - 3:00 PM. After waiting and not hearing back, I called and text Thomas at (925) 588-4606. He text back at 5:00 PM and informed me he would be on the way to my home with a ETA of 30 minutes. Continued to wait and wait, leaving text and voicemail messages. No replies from either him by phone or text. It is now 8:00 PM, and I’m writing this review in hopes he can read this review and steer others from making the mistake I made in placing my faith in this joke of a company.
If there was a way I could have given Gridlink Electric NEGATIVE Stars, I would have given them the maximum for WORST Customer Service!!!

Comments: Very responsive (answers his own phone and does so quickly). Clean work habits, excellent safety practices and knowledge of job. Arrived an hour after appointed time but he allowed for 1 hour flex time before and after appointed time which I did not know about - but I confirmed afterward that it is a standard industry practice.Work Description: They put in new circuit breakers, outlets and switches, and removed faulty wiring and installed new conduit and wiring.
Comments: Thomas and Fred were very professional and did a great job! They worked hard and cleaned up afterwards. They were very personable and put up with my 2 and 4 year old grandson's endless questions about what they were doing!! I would definitely hire them again!Clayton CA

Work Description: Replace ballasts for fluorescent light fixture, replace fan motor assembly for bathroom ventilator, remount hallway light fixtures and replace defective electrical outlet.
Comments: We are very satisfied with GRIDLINK and unhesitatingly recommend them for similar electrical work. They arrived very promptly (within an hour of our phone call), were courteous and friendly and proceeded to their work immediately. They cleaned up after themselves and performed all this at a reasonable price. We now have an electrical company that we can and will call them first for any future electrical needs.Albany CA

Comments: Thomas replied within minutes to my quote request. This was very impressive already, but him and his crew didn't stop there. We needed emergency work, and Thomas came by within a few hours, got me a printed estimate and was able to schedule the job for the very next day. Sensing the urgency, his crew completed the job in one day. His crew is professional, knowledgeable and punctual. We will definitely bbe using them again in the future. Work Description: In a nutshell Gridlink had to undo what a previous electrician had done to install a new bath fan.
Comments: Thomas arrived at an agreed upon delayed time because the job prior to mine took much longer. He looked at the situation an explained the options available. It turns out he had to undo a previous installation, which can be a real headache, and re-do it correctly. The previous installation was not up to code and if in the future someone was to have used the wiring that was in place it could have been a safety issue.While he was here we also had him re-wire a ceiling fan with a new switch.
I am happy to say I now have an electrician to call when I need one.
