Comments: Well, once again Dana and Jerry are my knights in shining armor. I returned home after an extended absence to find a leaking water heater and no heat in the dead of a Cleveland winter. After a bit of clean up I called Dana, Jerry showed up exactly when promised that day. He was able to get the furnace up and running in no time and at a reasonable price. Unfortunately the water heater was a bust and needed to be replaced. Dana and Jerry showed up the next day now I have a brand new water heater! They even found an issue with the install of the original water heater and corrected that.I have been using Dana and company for a number of years now and recommend Cleveland Comfort Solutions to anyone and everyone I talk to. Do not hesitate to call, they are professional, personable and polite, always have a solution to my problem and the price is reasonable. Comments: My mom found Dana Wright at Cleveland Comfort Solutions about 5 or 6 years ago when we needed someone to do maintenance on the furnaces and air conditioning units. She used their services regularly. Just a few days ago, my hot water tank went bad. I sent Dana a text message early in the morning letting him know what happened and that I had to leave for work. He immediately sent me a message and was at my house within 15 minutes (he was in the area for another job), to make sure the water was off to the tank and that the tank was off. He was out the next day and replaced everything. He did an amazing job and he is very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him and his team.

Comments: So, my experience with Dana goes back to 2003-2004. He had done some work for my dad, so naturally when I needed an hvac guy, I gave Dana a call. My wife and I had a newborn baby. So, my wife left because it was very cold. I stayed there with Dana. Dana wasn’t able to get to my house until around 5pm. He checked out my old gravity furnace and informed me I needed a new unit. So, he started the job right then. Then to realize that my old air ducts needed to be changed out as well. So we were in for a long night. Dana stayed all through the night and did the job, not leaving my house about 8am the next morning. But, he made sure I had heat so my newborn could come home.Next experience was last year. The fan on my outside a/c unit quit working pretty early on in the season. He told us the cost of a new one, which was more than my wife had to spend. He offered a perfect solutions. He said he had an old fan from a unit like ours, so used, but he said it did work; and it was right in our price range! He put that in and still no problems!!
Next, just last week my furnace started acting up and we gave Dana a call and he came on a day and at a time that was convenient for us. He came in, was here about 30 minutes and the job was done! He recommended I have my unit cleaned and he is scheduled to come today to take car of that for us!
Could not ask for a better, more honest and straightforward business man.

After years of living with a unit that was considered a poor performer, Dana installed a new Bryant furnace in the summer of 2020.Prior to the installation, he spent several hours measuring the square footage in the house, assuring me that the new unit would meet the demands of Cleveland winters. In addition, he installed new ductwork in the kitchen which prior to lacked a heating register. He also installed a return air vent in a hallway. Comments: Excellent!!! If you need an HVAC company, please do yourself a favor and call Cleveland Comfort Solutions!My furnace would ignite, but not stay on...and it was approx. 35 degrees outside! I called Cleveland Comfort Solutions and they came out the same day for a no-heat service appointment. I thought I would have to wait, but they prioritized it to make sure people aren’t without heat.
By the time Dana finished, the heat throughout the house was better than before it went out. He did such a thorough evaluation of the system.
I didn’t know the unit wasn’t performing at its highest efficiency until I felt the difference once the repair was completed. Ill probably save on the gas bill now that the unit is running properly.
They answer the phone when you call, and they show up when they say they will.
They are extremely knowledgeable about HVAC systems, and they have fair pricing.

Comments: FIVE STARS across the board! Dana was an absolute life saver when he came out to fix our A/C unit on July 4th (yes, Independence Day holiday) within 2 hours of us calling him. Our A/C had failed overnight, and we were in a real pinch with 2 young kids and 2 elderly in the house for a holiday weekend, so we were so excited when Dana was willing to come so quickly AND he was able to diagnose and fix the problem. Our unit is very old, so the parts aren't standard, and we were thankful that he had a spare capacitor that we could use until the parts stores opened on Monday to get us through the super hot weekend. He was right on time with the correct new part to fix our problem that very Monday. His cost was also very reasonable, especially given the holiday weekend, and we were so happy with the entire experience that we asked him to quote us new A/C and furnace units, where he was very patient to answer our questions and measure to obtain the most accurate sizing for the equipment. I would recommend Dana to anyone and we would definitely call him again - he is reliable, punctual, knowledgeable, and does fantastic work with excellent communication and customer service.

Comments: The work was done during escrow on my Parma house, after my buyer's inspector noted high levels of carbon monoxide in the area of the furnace and water heater. Dana had worked on my HVAC system previously and I'd been pleased with his performance, so I called him to investigate. We ended up having to replace the furnace, and he replaced the water heater flue pipe as well, to prevent backdrafting. He returned twice to take readings and ensure that everything was within normal levels. By this time, I had already moved out of state. However, throughout the process, Dana kept me thoroughly informed. He consistently accommodated escrow-related deadlines, and made himself available to meet with realtors and my buyer to answer their questions. Comments: I turned on my furnace for the first time on the coldest weekend of fall 2015 and it wasn't coming on. The unit is 10 years old and the mother board had been replaced the winter of 2014 by a friend that is retired from the heating and cooling business. He referred me to Mr. Wright. Comments: I would like to say that God put special people on earth to be honest and to help lead others in a positive direction, which Mr. Wright has done. I could not tell you how many companies I called that left me stressed after hearing their estimates. I did not feel like any of the companies I called took into considertion my funding and it's availability. I really just wanted to have my central air fixed. I had a number of different companies lined up to come and give me their estimate to fix the problem. I was told that it could not be fixed and that I needed a new unit. I was priced as low as $1500 and as high as $3000. I did not have the money on hand to replace the whole unit, but I would have made some arrangements to make sure the summer was not going to be unconfortable. Mr. Wright was actually the last person I talked to during my serach. Well, when Mr. Wright came out to my house my first impression of him felt different than all the others. He was very respectable of my availability of funds and may I add...Very knowledgable about his job! I watched him test every area of the unit to see which areas were working and which were not. As he tested, he educated me on my central air unit. I was educated and I received first hand information that day from Mr. Wright....the Cleveland Comfort Solutions teacher! He was able to fix my old unit with just a replacement of the capactor for a very low price that I was comfortable with. I will admitt that he said the unit was old and that I may want to start putting some funds aside for a new unit in the next year or two. The most recent visit was to perform general service to the furnace and clean the construction dust and dirt from the interior left by the builder. He arrived on time, offered an appropriate greeting and introduction and was ready to get to work. Work Description: Repaired an AC unit that was running but not cooling, and capped off a few gas lines that I needed to cap (I asked him for a referral, and he offered to do them at the same time.)
Comments: I called to schedule to have them come out and look at my AC that was running, but not cooling. The owner was in the area, so he was able to stop by a few hours later. Turns out that my 17 year old AC unit had rusted a good bit, and one of the wires burned/melted. He spent time to carefully clean contacts, replacing them when necessary, and thoroughly test the system inside and out. After quite a while (and practically re-wiring the outside unit) he determined that the compressor motor was likely frozen. He priced out a few different units, and only charged 65$ due to the problem not being resolved (he spent well over 90min). He even offered to cap a few gas lines that I had asked about that were near the cooling lines. After talking to my wife I called him back and agreed to purchase an upper range unit. He called me back the following day, and asked if he could come out and check 2 things that had occurred to him. He came out, and within 15 min had the AC working. He then spent the following hour capping the gas lines anyway. When everything was done he charged me an additional 100$ for the time and parts used the day before, as well as the hardware to cap the pipes, and a small amount of the labor. That is right, he passed up a $2,600 sale to do the right thing, and did the odd extra work even though he wasn't going to be replacing cooling lines in the area. I can't say enough good things about how he is running his business!

Work Description: The fan on my central air compressor stopped spinning and the unit was making an awful buzzing sound. It was 90 or so degrees when the unit stopped working and I needed it fixed ASAP! I called Dana early in the morning and left a message. He promptly returned my call and advised that he could be at my house within a half hour. Dana arrived less than thirty minutes later and was able to quickly diagnose the problem. His extensive knowledge is evidence that he's been doing this for quite some time. I asked him about it and he's been in this business for 20 or so years. It turned out that the fan motor and capacitor were burned out and needed replaced. I had a feeling that this was the case. Dana provided me with a fair estimate and I agreed for him to perform the work. Dana made some calls and was able to get the needed parts. He was back within the hour and conducted the repair work. He provided me with warranty information and gave me some decent tips on how to make my furnace/ac running more efficiently. He also gave me some background information on the government's tax credit program. Dana is honest, professional, and friendly. I will be calling him for my future HVAC needs. Comments: Cleveland Comfort Solutions was extremely prompt, getting a technician to my home within an hour (on a Friday) from when we spoke on the phone about my furnace not working. The technician was very respectful of my home (even taking off his shoes) and was quick and efficient in finding the problem. He was knowledgeble about the unit and the parts required to fix it. Additionally, he was cheerfully willing to take the time to answer all my questions, even though some were about functions of other parts of the unit and about maintenance and care. I can't speak to the price of services, since it was efficiently handled between the company and my home warranty, and the company accepted my service fee check without any issues. Even though the problem turned out to be a small one, I was expecting a big, bothesome, weekend-ruining experience, so I was STUNNED by the prompt, effectuive and amiable service that we recieved from Cleveland Comfort Solutions, and I would absolutely recommend them to my friends.

Comments: I came home this week from work and noticed that my house was a bit cold. I realized that something was wrong when I only heard a hum when the furnace was supposed to turn on. I called this company based on a friend's referral and they came over immediately. The service tech was friendly, asked a few questions, and already had an idea of what the problem was. He was explaining the different parts of my furnace and explaining their function as he diagnosed the problem. It turns out he was right and he pulled a large dead bird out of the inducer motor! He did the job and pulled it out like a real pro. A little over an hour after I called, we fired it up and it was all solved. HIGHLY recommended!
