Comments: Initial felling of trees went very well but lost control of trunk log which rolled down slope against a fence. Failed to return as promised to finish and became threatening when final payment withheld. (They were paid 75% of the bill in cash) We will have to hire someone else to finish. Comments: Someone rang my doorbell looking for work since they were in the area. He Advised Ihad some dead branches. I declined for that but I told him I really needed shrubs in back yard cut down. He quoted $800 . I told him I didn’t have that , We agreed on $650. Our agreement was to cut down all the honeysuckle. He did half the job that was requested and agreed on.When I questioned he said that one of the uncut honeysuckle alone should have gotten him $800. I had to ask him to AT least cut some of the invasive branches as it is smothering the lilac next to it…. He was reluctant but trimmed a little of this remaking honeysuckle. I was dumbfounded!..
When I called the owner he said this was between me and Kevin ( the guy who knocked on my door)’. Owner said he was told by Kevin that I only wanted half of the shrubs cut back! REALLY! Think about this! Why would someone pay for half of the back yard shrubs to be cut back ?
Lesson learned…. Only desperate, unethical companies knock on doors. Don’t do business with this company or any that ring doorbells.

Comments: S&S was very professional. I submitted to get a quote online and got a call within 10 minutes and the visit for the quote scheduled for the same day. I got a great price considering the size of the job (at least a dozen small-medium trees to cut down and take out!). They brought a crew appropriate to the size of the job and were done in a matter of hours, even with all the rain that day.
