Comments: Mr. Small left me in a really bad position: He came out twice for my regularly scheduled service but failed to show or even to contact me regarding the third. When I reached out to him he stated he was behind due to weather and promised to be out in 3 days. He still did not come or contact me and now does not even respond to my inquiries. Mr. Small pressed me for a review after only the first service, and I told him I would be glad to submit a review following the third service appointment as is my usual practice for ongoing work in order to be able to give a fair report. Now, my property is so overgrown having been promised he was coming that estimates I have obtained to restore are 3 times the price I was paying for regular basic maintenance--money I don't have. I even paid Mr. Small more than the agreed upon amount for his first two visits in an effort to show my appreciation, and he was aware that I was living without air conditioning in order to be able to pay for his services, so I don't understand why he would put me in this position of now having to pay 3 times more due to excessive overgrowth. I chose Mr. Small largely based on the multiple positive reviews and realize that by submitting a negative review I run the risk of being viewed as the 'one person you just can't please', but I just felt a strong need to relate what happened to me in all honesty. I totally understand if for whatever reason any person/business is no longer able to perform as agreed, but what I don't understand is not communicating about it, especially so that I could secure another service before having to pay extra. I am bothered the most because I just don't understand why Mr. Small would do this after promising that he would not let me down. It was not just creating a financial hardship, but personally hurtful.
With all due respect, I appreciate your response and will not delete this review and hope you do not as well. However you were not on a consistent schedule according to our business model. I told you on several occasions that your property needed to be serviced weekly and that BI-weekly mowing at best would keep your heavily wooded and untreated lawn from being severely overgrown. But you insisted every three weeks due to your financial situation, which is not consistent with all the other properties that I service in your area but I wanted to help. I still went out of my way to take a special trip to service your property alone causing me extra time and gas with no additional charge to you. Your property is at least 2 acres. The industry minimum is $125.00 per acre or $75.00 per man hour. Having said that I spent an average 3 hours per visit without charging for pulling weeds, or defining all the pine straw beds and the most you ever paid me was $80.00 per month ( I have a record of all payments if you would like for me to post them.) when you should be paying at least $500.00 per month. So you paying 3 times more than what you paid me is really a great deal which would be $480.00 per month for their Bi-weekly services and you should stick with that company. Furthermore I asked for a review and not pressed you for a review. This company is built on integrity, word of mouth, and then people seeing my reviews. I have never or ever will Beg for business or reviews my work speaks for itself, did I ask you for this one? I have tried everything in my power to accommodate your financial and scheduling needs by offering you $50.00 bi-weekly for 2 acres of property because of your unique situation, and I apologize that I still failed to satisfy your needs. Therefore I respectfully decline any other opportunities to ever work with or communicate with you again in the future.

I had a large project and was amazed at how thorough and meticulous these guys were.. they are honest and very knowledgeable about their craft. One note to take into consideration is that he keeps a tight schedule and will service your yard at the agreed interval so you never have to ask will he be doing your yard this weekend
