Work Description: Garage Conversion
Comments: I would not recommend this companyDuring my build, there were issues with improperly installed items that I now have to get a new contractor to fix. Example: flooring not properly installed and clicks when you walk on it, mini split units not properly installed, kitchen island counter top measurements were wrong, etc.
Another problem was the billing. I was double charged for labor. I paid labor upfront in the deposit for entire remodel then the remainder of the money was supposed to be for materials. When I got the itemized bill (asked for one because the price from original contract kept going up) I noticed the material cost included another labor charge. I had 2 other contractors check my bill and they confirmed I was being double charged for labor. If you use this company CHECK YOUR BILL!
My biggest issue was the owner Antonio. He was nice in the beginning but when the remodel started and issues arose he did not handle the issues in a professional manner.
He was late for scheduled meetings, he over promised on things the company could do, his response time to issues were poor (took up to 2 days sometimes to get answers). Had to ask for updates multiple time even though he agreed to give me daily updates when I asked previously etc
He did not handle major issues well either. He does not take responsibility for mistakes that arose. He would make excuses and shift blame. He was very unprofessional when talking to me about issues and criticisms that I had.
One good thing was the staff. They where always on time, polite and respectful.
Yvonne his office manager was professional, quick with responses she could answer, and always helpful.
I would shop around for other contractors before you use this company
