Work Description: Repair an Asphalt shingle roof
Comments: Before choosing to go with S.G. Construction, I had three other quotes for my roof. Each of those companies spent an hour or more inspecting, measuring, and going over so many documents before finally quoting a price and then subsequently lowering it by several THOUSANDS, trying to get us to sign then and there. Greg from S.G. Construction was different. He did not try any high-pressure sales tactics. He did not waste our time going through all kinds of forms and unnecessary selections before we were ready to sign. He inspected the attic, got on the roof and measured, then gave me his true quote, which was quite reasonable. My roof was 27 years old, three layers high, with broken decking, and some rotted out fascia. Greg checked the weather reports, got the dump truck out there the day after the last rain passed through, and immediately set to work on tearing it all down. The most impressive part for me was that he and his crew came out each and every day until the job was done. They were very mindful of my family, letting us know before getting up on the roof each morning, and never came in and out to use the facilities. They set up the inspections in such a way that there was not much down time while waiting for that to be done by the city. They tore it all down, replaced everything that needed replacing, covered the whole thing with plywood, installed the new cool roof with shiny new vents, cleaned and hauled it all away, and threw in a few little extra fixes that tied the new look all together. I cannot recommend S.G. Construction highly enough due to their reasonably priced, high-quality work. I hope to use them for other projects in the near future.-
