Work Description: Drive way in my home completed in a timely fashion..

Comments: I contracted Eric Hooper owner of S & S Concrete and Block Inc. March 29th 2014 . After speaking with Eric, and making a contract to have a drive way completed at my home , Eric stated that the project will start on March 12th 2014 and completed no later than March 13th 2014. The project was not started for more than 9 days later . I called Eric daily for find out where they were at because Eric stated that his team will be there in the morning but never came to my home to start the project. Finally the employees of S & S concrete and Block Inc. came to my home to start the project. Per conversation on the phone and also by text message, Eric Hooper " The Owner" stated that he was sorry but he fell behind. " He made excuses for his inability to complete the project in a timely fashion" After the project was started , we had to wait 8 days for the concrete to be poured and another 5 days to park on it. When the concrete dried we noticed that water stayed in the middle due to uneven concrete . Chunks of concrete were all over the drive way due to this company not leveling out the concrete , and the proper dimensions of the concrete were not what we paid for. After calling Eric Hooper owner of S & S concrete & Block more that 10 time in the effort to have this fixed, the only reply that i received from him is that he will not fix it and if i make any attempt to contact him with this issue again, he will spend his $300,000 dollars that he has in his account to sue me for make an issue about his less than professional drive way that he poured at my home. This company does not complete the project at all. The owner is not a person of his word. And you will not get your money's worth from hiring this company. Do not waist your money. There are better companies out there. This company is a rip off. I have picture to prove it..
Unfortunately in this business not everything runs on time. You were called and updated and had the option to use someone else. The driveway was not poured wrong and when you called to complain about the concrete on the driveway I pulled all of my crew off of other projects to accommodate you. You were the one threatening to sue me and it is in my opinion you are upset because I did not give you what you wanted for free which is what you expected us to do and I believe that was your plan from the beginning. Some people get what they want and find fault in it to obtain it way below cost or in some cases they expect it for free. I am very sorry you feel the way you do but we have a 99% customer satisfaction rate and do everything in our power to be on time but if the weather doesn't permit there is nothing we can do. I hope you have a wonderful day and take peace in knowing that we are truly sorry that you are unhappy and we did what we could to avoid this situation.
