Comments: The owner seemed very nice at first, I am a small business owner as well so I know how important it is to hire quality experienced professonals. We discuss what was expected of the job. He told me on several occasion that he would send over the contract and never did, He started the job a day early which was impressive he stated that he wanted to make sure he had time before the cement truck came out. I check with him about the contract and said he was going to send it over, I checked for the spelling of his company and stated that it was JV Paving and Concrete a little difference from what was on the card. He stated that it was a misprint on the card. Jose laid the concrete and returned that next morning to remove the wooden setting and put up equipment. I reached out to Jose about some concerns I had he said he would respond to them the next busness day. I have called him and left several messages and he has yet to respond. This is very dishearting because I dont want to give him a poor rating but his actions in resolving my issues is causing me a hardship I need my job complete to run my business properly now I am at stand still and my have to hire someone else to correct my issues that JV Paving and Concrete or JV Concrete is refusing to respond to. I am at a loss. I hope I hear from them soon and then maybe I can recommend them but right now it's a no for me. It is very sad that you cant trust or take a business owner at their word. Work Description: Driveway repair and extension
Comments: Jose was paid over and above the quoted price for the job he was hired for.He didn’t have the right piece of equipment (Bobcat) and had to rent a “Dingo” at an additional $200.00. The actual rental cost was $280.00. We paid him $300.00.
We could have taken the position that any cost over-ride was his responsibility to pay for,...but we didn’t.
The job was not to our satisfaction... and we made him aware of that. His crew was preparing to leave and the concrete guy/truck had left.He made light of our dissatisfaction, but did agree to return... and make it right. I took him at his “word” and paid him “in full”, including as I said, for the rental.
There were repeated calls and texts sent to him... with no reply.
When he did finally reply and come out again, to also assess additional work that I wanted done, he refused to repair and make right the initial work, at his cost... as he had given his word that he would do.
After that, he would not respond to any calls or texts... and obviously had no intention of returning... as evidenced by the fact that he didn’t,
Other reviews echo the same complaint.
He is not a man of his word. I would not recommend him.

Jose your response to my husband’s review was wrong ,you are a very poor businessman instead of fixing the driveway for “your” mistake and taking care of the customer you respond to our review and defend your wrong doing.The picture you posted of our driveway with the cars in it was clearly taken way after the fact and sneaky do not enter my property again.The picture also clearly shows the poor workmanship of the crooked part to the right as you and your crew referred to as a breast with a nipple which was disrespectful to me as a women and very unprofessional.This is how you do business by defending your work that a customer was not happy with, I am sorry we paid you and trusted you,we told you and your crew that we weren’t happy right after the driveway was poured and that we wanted that one spot
to be fixed and you ignored it/ brushed us off.you were also unprepared you even asked us for a wheel barrel,as far as the side of the house what wires there was no wires?Anything that was done in the back was part of the grading work that you were paid for.My husband and I offered you and your crew cold drinks several times throughout the day and hot freshly made coffee and we treated you with respect as well as your crew, so don’t lay the blame on us it’s your business and this whole thing was unprofessional,you didn’t do the right thing by us.That’s just wrong and very poor business.Beware don’t pay if your not happy ,have it fixed first then pay...

Comments: such nice guys.. I hate to leave this review but I got to do what I got to do..the only problem I have is they came up two inches short on my concrete and has not called me back after several attempts to reach them. since he won't come and correct his mistake I have to pay out-of-pocket to have someone else correct it.. I will be reaching out to the Better Business Business Bureau after this.

Comments: Jose and his crew did an awesome job on my concrete slab. They showed up on time, walked me through what they were going to do, cleaned up afterwards, and finished on time. Through the whole process, Jose was professional, returned my calls quickly, and did what he said he would do.
