Work Description: full roof re-shinge and rubber roof on addition

Comments: work was done by roof masters of windham, maine 6 years ago and the roof has been leaking for almost a year. Roof Masters offered a 10 year warranty on their work but they refuse to honor it. They attempted to fix the leaks 3-4 times in the last year but have not succeeded. Now they refuse to return calls. Don't make the same mistake. Look for another roofer!!
This information is not accurate. yes we installed a roof 6 years ago but have not blown her off. we have made multiple attempts to help her with her roof but it’s not a roofing issue it’s a chimney issue. she is the one refusing to fix the chimney. Her warranty only covers the work we did the roofing tiles not the chimney. If she would like to replace all flashings on chimney we can do that at an additional charge. Just because we worked on the house doesn’t make us responsible for all leaks that may occur. if the basement leaked is that our fault? how about a window? we sent technicians out 3 times this doesn’t sound like a blow off to me. This cost us money for gas and labor with no consideration. Only trying to hurt our reputation. The roof was fine for 5 years and now the chimney is old and Leaking Get your chimney fixed. Stop blaming all your home’s issues on us.

Work Description: Roof repair on garage after tree damage from windstorm.

Comments: Three levels of communication.
#1 Salesman, communication was excellent. Very eager to get the job and arrangements were made promptly. Estimate was given sighting photographs. Materials price changed by $200.00.
#2 Crew, 4pm arrival, worked speedily as it was getting dark. Finished by 8:30. They were tired and didn't want to tarp it and come back in the morning for good daylight. I understand why as other families were waiting for repairs. Crew left ground with asphalt, nails and wood rubbish and tools left behind.
#3 Management, responded quickly to my request for an invoice for the insurance company. However did not respond to my email regarding mess left behind tool.
My sentiments are:
Turn around and workmanship is understandable given the gravity of the storm, Declared State of Emergency. No power for days. Lots of damage state wide.
I am grateful for the quick response to button up the holes in the roof. Not sure of the work, time will tell.
Did not appreciate having to clean up after the crew left the job site.
Would I hire this company again? Depends. If the scenario were the same, yes. If it is a planned roofing project, probably not.
During this time a bad storm cause damage to half the houses in Maine. Repairs are taken seriously and showing up at 4pm in not normal practice but Getting the roof water tight and keeping you and your family dry was our priority. Finishing by 8pm must of been dark and hard to see. Because of the the state emergency and roof repair demand, we had to work all hours of the day with no days off for weeks. Email was not responded due to a company shut down from 12/1/2017- 12/18/2017 We do have over 8 phone numbers and you had the salesman’s number. If known about the mess left behind, we would of had someone there to clean within 24 hours. We apologize for the trouble during that time. That’s not the way we do things normally.
