Comments: When I hired him I had 3 projects that I was looking to have done but the one that was my major priority was the back porch. He gave me a estimate for all 3 projects and now he wants to charge more for the front porch when he told me that he could do it for $2,000.00 and now he wants to do it for $6,000.00 and that was not a opinion that we did not agree on. One of the other project that I was going to do I told him that I wasn't going to do because I didn't want another project started and not have it get done. He started on the back porch on July 19th and on July 20th he came out with someone to help with the back porch and all he did was the frame and the boards on the porch and the railings and he wanted the remaining money for a job that wasn't completed and I did give it to him but I shouldn't have given it to him because the job wasn't done and he kept asking for more money down for down payment for the front porch that I didn't want done until the back porch was done. And I can't get him out here to finish the back porch. Every time he said he would be out here he never showed up or he would up later then what he said he would be out. Like for example he text me last week Tuesday that he would be here at 11am but he didn't show up until 2pm and in his text was that he was going to do the back porch but instead he was working on the front porch and he did have someone with him to help and he could of worked on the front porch. Last week Wednesday he showed up around 3pm just to get money for one of the projects and left instead of do some work. I have been texting him to find out when he is going to be here and I just can't get a answer from because I can't put a extension cord out so he doesn't show up and if it rains I don't want the extension cord out. I also told him that I feel he is taking advantage of me and he said that he isn't but I feel that if he would do the $2,000.00 instead of the $6,000.00. I also have pictures of certain areas of the back porch that need to be fixed and I want it done right away. I could of have gone with someone else and he have it done already and now I am regretting not going with them. Not against John he seems like a nice person but I can't depend on someone who can't get the job done. I have more to say but we will leave it at what I have told you all ready. But if you know someone that could finish the back porch and do the front porch for less. I would appreciate it if could let me know. Thank you.Marinette WI

Comments: After several roofing companies indicated they didn't want to do repairs, I was thrilled that John from Rider's Contracting LLC not only agreed to assess the needed repairs, but also decided his crew could do the repair immediately! The Rider's crew was on the roof for just short of an hour, and the cost was in line with what the insurance adjuster determined.
