Description: Established in 1994, Ramsey Woodworks is a family-owned-and-operated business in South Austin. Ramsey Woodworks prides itself on an outstanding record of quality workmanship. We use only the best materials and will work to build the right cabinets and wood countertops for your design. Our shop consists of fewer than 15 craftspeople who work alongside master craftsman Gary Ramsey. Our small, close-knit shop environment ensures the utmost care and skill in each piece we create. Whatever your project may be, we can offer an initial assessment over the phone of whether our shop can suit your needs. If you have a single piece to repair or restore, usually no visit is necessary and you can simply drop off the piece or schedule us to pick it up. If you are looking for custom furniture and/or built-in cabinetry, we will schedule an appointment with you and one of our master craftsmen. During this meeting, we take space measurements, consult with you on style and influences and the general look and functionality you desire. Our full-service woodshop can custom build, repair, refinish and restore almost any furniture, cabinetry, or doors made of wood.
