Work Description: Concrete work - footings, foundation, flatwork
Comments: Initially, my experience with Pine Shade Contracting (David and Ofa) for the concrete work on my 28’x44’ garage (including footings, walls, flatwork, and stairs) started promisingly with excellent communication. However, after the second 50% payment, progress ground to a halt, and communication became frustratingly difficult, marked by constant excuses for David's unavailability.Regrettably, it came to light that Pine Shade Contracting failed to pay their concrete supplier and workers. The supplier was directed by David to put a lien on my property due to non-payment. I was also directly contacted by unpaid workers seeking compensation for their completed labor.
Ultimately, I was left with no choice but to terminate their services, hire a new contractor to finish the job, and absorb a significant financial loss as a result of Pine Shade Contracting's unprofessional conduct and failure to fulfill their obligations. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Pine Shade Contracting
