Work Description: remove old concrete patio and pour new; patches in driveway
Comments: In April 2021, Mr. Timothy Alfonza Kennemer came to quote my job. He was very pleasant, sounded knowledgeable and I trusted him to do me right. He was licensed by the city, and had insurance. I searched the internet on him, and found nothing bad. He started on the far side of my existing slab to remove old concrete. Got only a little done then said he couldn't get it out. His solution? Pour a thin slab over the old. I was ignorant and let him do that (which is all cracked now). Part way through the job he jacked the price up. Stupidly, I paid him $10,500 when the concrete was poured. Next day I inspected the job. It was terrible and entirely unsatisfactory. He didn't even finish up. I have tried for six months to get satisfaction from his insurance, with no success. I am going to have to pay another contractor to rip out everything OMI did, for an amount equal to what I have lost. I found out after the fact that he has had several business names, and the personal name he used to me is his middle name. I had searched OMI, Alfonza Kennemer. If I had known to search his other business names and his first name, I would have seen that he is a flim-flam artist and a crook and has ripped off other people. I do not want Kennemer on my property again because he has had domestic violence charges against him in the past. I do not trust him to not hurt me if he got angry. Comments: Talked a lot of smack on how good a job they were going to do. Quoted one price and after starting changed the price; wanted to add 5K more.Less than a year after finishing the job, there's cracks all in the driveway...from one end to the other. Would not return call or messages. Very poor quality work. Would not recommend to anyone.

Comments: Very inconsistent. Prior to doing the work I was told times of when they would start and complete the job neither were accurate. The concrete pour is sufficient as far as I can tell. The frames are still around the concrete 4 days later. When I called to ask when the job would be completed he stated he thought I could pull the framing off myself. Huge mistake trying to support this business. I would not recommend using them.Huntsville AL

Comments: The contractor and his employee's were polite and very professional. The concrete trucks started to come at 10:15 AM and the 40'x52' barn floor was finished by 3 PM, 5" thick and broom finished. We are very pleased with the outcome.Huntsville AL

Work Description: Concrete slab for a garage
Comments: NEVER will I ever hire Valley Concrete/Tim Kennemer to do another job for me. This man is the biggest RIP-off artist I have ever met. On May 29th I hired him to do a 24'x24' concrete slab for a garage. It is now June 27th and I still do not have a slab. In fact, I even paid him (another stupid move on my part) and now I can't get him to come and finish the job.It took him 2 weeks to pour a slab and not only was it not square but it wasn't even level. It was not salvageable and he had to rip it out (breaking my house foundation in the process) and start over. The forms were reset (I actually laid them out) and now he has disappeared. I'm about to see how good our legal system is. He's got my money and I don't have a slab.
Under no circumstances hire this man to do a job for you.

Work Description: Concrete Flatwork - Repair & Resurface
Comments: Came out quickly to do estimate and had all the answers - I agreed to the price(still have sticker shock) and he started within hours. I was concerned by his methods but he assured me that repairs would be permanent. In several places he applied dry cement to the driveway crack and them covered that with mixed cement - I was very skeptical but he said he knew what he was doing - he assured me he was a professional and that this method would work. He finished up and the work was rough but I took him at his word and wrote the check. Next morning I checked the driveway and almost all of the repairs had already cracked - called him on the phone and he came right away to correct it - worked a few hours and it looked much better - rewrote the check and gave it to him. Off to the beach for a week and when I return almost all of the repairs are cracked and some are popping off the drive - contractor will not return text and I have to assume I have been left without the repair and without the money I paid him. I cannot in good conscience, recommend himHuntsville AL

Comments: Scam and crook. Took $2500 down payment. Worked less than a half of a day. Wanted me to pay $5000 more over contracted job so he didn't have to complete. He just wanted the down payment and ran. Tim Kennemer threatened me to take him to court. Do not hire this contractor. He is a fraud. Everything he says is a lie.Huntsville AL
