Description: Hi! I'm David Woodward. I founded Nord Fence in November 2019 with my amazing wife, Adrienne. I'm a 3rd generation contractor with 30+ years of experience designing, building and repairing cedar and cedar/metal fences. I enjoy rebelling against planned obsolescence and throw-away culture by giving new life to old fences.

In addition to protecting your environment, we are dedicated to protecting the environment.

Did you know that if a fence has paint or stain on it it has to go to the landfill?
To us, that seems ridiculous.

Not only are you throwing away a lot of usable material, new material then has to be harvested, trucked, milled and trucked a few more times, which continues to produce green house gases.

That's why we re-purpose as much as possible of your old materials. Up to 99%!

It used to take a 12' truck to go to the transfer center and throw away old fences. Now, we take a medium paper bag of stain and paint shavings. That is the only thing we dispose of and as soon as we figure out a use for them, we'll use them, too.
