Work Description: Remove old shingles, repair damaged or rotted roof decking before installing new underlayment and shingles. Remove old insulation in attic and put new insulation.Comments: Chris as project supervisor seemed honest and reliable at first. However, during stripping of the old shingles his crew was poorly supervised and began pushing nails and waste off the edges of the roof into landscaping below. We had already agreed this should never happen. I was forced to do clean-up of this mess. Then Chris brought Petrr to the house who took a photo of a section of broken roof decking and claimed it was part of the truss roof support indicating that the roof was collapsing and needed an additional $20,000.00 in modifications. The homeowner was terrified by this fear tactic to extort over double the price of the original contract. We have had numerous inspections of the attic space and this was obviously damage caused by their own workers to the roof decking. Peter then demanded to bring in his own contractor to install central heating and cooling unit.homeowner refused. Peter then demanded to bring in his own plumbing contracto to replumb the house. Home owner refused as this was recently done at the cost of $8,000.00. Peter then insisted that the new plumbing was connected to the old plumbing which I proved was not true. So Petrr went on to insist he needed to bring in a an electrician to rewire the house. Homeowner refused saying he would not agree to let the insulation be installed unless homeowner agreed to pay for major rewiring of the house. Clearly they were trying to expand the scope and cost of the original contract using threats of not completing the contract and outright lies fraud and misrepresentation. After they left I advised the homeowner, (homeowner is a lifetime friend and neighbor ) of these issues and suggested we have the contract canceled. I then left only to discover Chris and Peterparked away from view and discussing something. This raised my suspicions further but I had nothing solid to go on and went away. I returned early the following day to fond a delivery truck with crew having just placed an entire load of shingles on the ridge of the house. Were they deliberately trying to break the roof? The repairs to the deck had not been started and the deck inspection had not been done. I voiced my concern to the driver who told me he also was concerned and had initially had refused to make delivery because the repairs were obviously not done but was ordered by Chris to load the roof with the material. Inside the homeowner told me that after I had left Chris and peter returned and told him they would not complete the roof for three weeks unless he changed shingle color to a less popular color and demanded ten thousand dollars. Next morning I returned to find a crew with tools getting ready to install shingles without having done repairs or having inspection. I asked foreman what his plan was and was told he was only there to install shingles. No repairs to the deck were going to be done. I ordered the to take there tools and leave. Of note is they had no tools or wood to do any roof deck repairs. I spoke with homeowner and strongly advised him to cancel the check and contract which is is what he did. Another contractor completed the work for s similar cost of the original contract. Obviously NewHaus construction decided if they couldn't take this elderly gentleman for everything they would content themselves to slapping shingled on an oldeck and skip the repairs. Never trust NewHaus Construction. Not reliable not honest.,
Work Description: Roof repairComments: Couldn't be more dissatisfied. Glad- handers full of empty promises. Ripped a hole in my roof, and said there would be NO warranty. A BRUTE of a man was sent to intimidate. They refuse to provide me with the POS warranty given orally AFTER my roofed was ripped apart.
Avoid at all costs. Rating of one star too high.

Work Description: Roof Repair - Asphalt ShingleComments: We decided to have our roof replaced. NewHaus pointed out to us some things that maybe were not done up to code. We decided to have NewHaus correct these issues which did change the price on what was quoted. So Far everything has turned out great. Sean has kept us informed every step of the way, and has answered all of our questions. I am so grateful that we decided to accept there bid.

Work Description: Roof Repair - Asphalt ShingleComments: Very overpriced work. The flashing side of house work wasn't done and was only handled by worker by just putting flex glue. That is something I could have done myself. The roofing was to my satisfaction but I don't have proof yet to know until it rains again.
