Work Description: All of Sacrovi Mondragon’s workmanship
Comments: Sacrovi Mondragon has a well earned reputation of mediocre work and not paying the labor. I personally witnessed 5 consecutive project that fit his description accurately. I sold a large bathroom remodel to a particular homeowner in South Austin. He made all kinds of promises concerning the work he was going to personally preform. When he tired of the job he subcontracted some of the work. In particular the tile installation in the walk in shower. Not only did he never manage the “new” crew but he allowed someone who he met in a parking lot one day walk into a job site completely unsupervised. Needless to say the quality of the job took a nosedive.This job was originally scheduled for 3-4 weeks and took over three months to complete due to the lack of Sacrovi’s professionalism.
On another job he had a crew eliminate a wall. During this process we moved three light switches to an adjacent wall. One of the switches no longer worked and Sacrovi was adamant we were not responsible and that the switch never worked to begin with. Once I showed him the pictures that we as a company moved that switch he immediately dismissed it and said that the homeowner was Ok cause he knew he was paying lower than market rate.
Those are just a couple of stories of his workmanship and in a time frame of less than six months. Use his services at your own peril. You will most likely he the phrase “It’s OK” for any issue you have. It is his go to response to any problem.
