Work Description: Steps/Deck Redo
Comments: Kyle (Thats how he spelled his name on contract) came to my house to redo/repair steps leading to my backyard. Upon reviewing, he said it was going to be a one day job and that permits would not be needed.I paid him half ($750) and he called me while on Thanksgiving vacation saying i would need permits and he would not do any more work.
To that point, he worked 20 min,(His words) and would not return my money and left my steps in disrepair.
I have offered to pay him for his time but he will not return the money.
On his contract he spelled his name incorrectly and used the wrong address for his business.
These should present red flags at a very minimum.

Comments: Kile Mills stopped by yesterday and we discussed the project, agreed on a price for the project ($400.00), I agreed to give him half of the Price ($200.00) by check which he cashed yesterday June 10th. He was supposed to start on the project at 9:00 this morning Thursday June 11th. I've called him several times and he responded to one of the calls about 2 hours ago and said that he would be here shortly. I don't have time to chase him down to do the job. I've asked him to return my money and I'll find someone that want to do the job and not just lie to people just to get free money.St. Louis MO

Comments: This guy came to my house gave me a quote for doing the deck. The next day he power washed the deck fo two hours with my power washer after taking $300 deposit on a $600 quote for power washing sanding and staining the deck. Then he said he would be back at 8:00 AM today. He never showed. When I texted him he said I was trying to run his schedule. then he said he would be here by 4. Now he has sent me a text saying he has terminated the contract. TOTAL SCAM WHICH I AM EXPECT HE INTENDED FROM THE BEGININGIMG_0732.PNG
