It was a very difficult job due the height of the tree and being split down the middle all the way beneath ground surface. They done an excellent job removing the tree and super clean up. Comments: A very professional organization with quality staff- in the office and out in the field.We went with this company even though their estimate was (significantly) higher than others we received.
We sent Mayo and Sons copies of the other estimates and did ask that they consider making a change to their rate.
They did not.
But…we are happy and will most likely use their services again.
The old adage: “You get what you pay for.” Cleanup of detritus was phenomenal! Three limbs (two major needing significant effort) in 3 hours start to finish.
The other companies might have done just as good a job as Mayo for a lesser price.
We may never know.

Comments: Got tree removed well enough but moved refuse over our property line and onto neighbors’. I repeatedly explained that I did not want the railroad ties left, not only did they leave them, they put them on top of the tree refuse, on our neighbors property. Then, they sent three guys to remove the waist high retaining wall. One day down the entire job. Additionally, the other two guys did not remove all railroad ties, nor did they remove the dirt from the retaining wall. They smoothed the dirt, tacked on some black paper, and mulched the hills left over from the retaining walls. Do not pay these people until you’re happy with their work, which may be never.Indianapolis IN

Comments: These folks did a great job exactly as promised. And, they cleaned up afterwards so things looked as they did prior to their arrival. They had a narrow window in which to fell both trees. ( 65-75 foot tall) and took them exactly as required to avoid damage to my property. I’d hire them again if needed.

Work Description: A 3 by 12 foot area between my patio and my home was dug out to a depth of 4 inches and filled with white stones.
Comments: Gary Mayo and his men deserve the highest praise. Gary called me shortly after I made my request and he was the only one out of the four companies to contact me. He came within 3 days and I could not be more pleased with the job he and his men did .All the dirt was bagged and taken awayl The patio was hosed down completely...not a speck of dirt left.
