Comments: If we could give them zero stars we would. Gene and his management are completely incompetent and fraudulent in their business practices. Not only did it take nearly 9 months to get them to start our roof, but their employees showed up when they felt like it, damaged our gutters, scammed us for "additional" repairs that they said were not included in a new roof replacement, left trash and debris everywhere on our property frequently, spread caulking from their hands on our painted window trim- the list could go on! As the project progressed and we constantly pointed out the issues to our PM, Tyler, we were consistently reassured by Tyler that all would be taken care of and any damage would be repaired/corrected. With so much damage to our three year old gutters, due to the crew not placing any protective cloths or anything on them to prevent damage, Tyler spoke to Gene who told him to authorize gutter replacement wherever there was damage, and to take the gutter expense off of our final bill. After the initial "crew" went MIA on our job, we were told they were unfortunately undocumented workers that Kennedy had "no idea were undocumented, and Kennedy would quickly find a replacement crew. The next crew was as careless as the first. Once they "finished" our roof- they never returned to correct the damage to the windows, siding, caulking, etc. They also never replaced our chimney caps- which we paid for. After this never ending debacle, not only did they not complete the contracted job, but they did not refund us for the work they didn't complete OR pay the lift company they used. We have exhaustively contacted Gene DOZENS of time via text, calls and emails. He promises over and over that he will come by with a check, send a check, etc. but has not done so. Gene did not pay the Lift company he rented from for our project, so the lift company put a lien on my home. Kennedy Construction owes us over 12k and the lift company nearly 5K- we would advise extreme caution before engaging in business with them. We are pursuing in court. (For an idea of timeline- we met with Bob in July 2022 and signed the initial contract- it is now 2024)

Comments: I was in desperate need of a roof repair. I called Kennedy Construction to tell them about my issue and the urgency of getting it done due to the fact that I have an ailing parent in the house and I was concerned because we had water coming in. I was told that they were extremely busy but they sent someone out right away. Later that day after the roof was looked at I got a call from I think was one of the owners and she explained to me that they would be over the next day to start work to repair my roof. She said that they are a family owned business and family is extremely important to them and she understood my situation.

They came, repair my roof and did an amazing job and super fast and well done! I wish more companies would be like Kennedy Construction!! They put people before business! I am referring them to everyone!!

Comments: Honest! Honest! Honest! I wish I could say how much I truly appreciate Kennedy Construction and their honesty and integrity. I had 2 competing companies come out to take a look at my roof because I was having some issues and both companies told me I needed a complete replacement. Kennedy Construction came and looked at my roof and although I will need a roof down the road I do NOT need a full replacement right now. They were able to repair my roof for a faction of the cost and relieved so much of my stress I can not even tell you! Thank you for your honesty and when it is time for my full replacement you are going to be my ONLY call.

So I gave them a call and they did not disappoint. They gave me a good price. The girl I talked to the first time I think her name was Christina and she was so pleasant and patient with me and all my questions. They replaced my roof and were in and out before I knew it. Work Description: roof leak repair

Comments: I received 2 estimates for a roof leak. Bob Stephens of KCG came out to provide the estimate. He did not get on the roof or go into the attic & quoted $1,500 to repair the roof leak. The 1st contractor did go into the attic & onto the roof & quoted $3,000. I wanted to go with the more expensive quote but the home warranty would not cover it. After dealing with the warranty company I decided to go with KCG but the quote expired & I scheduled Bob to come back out. The scheduled time was 2-4p. At 4:05p I called to see when I could expect Bob. The receptionist stated that Bob was delayed at his previous stop & would call me in an hour to let me know when he would arrive. I said to cancel the whole repair. Bob immediately called & stated that KCG would honor the previous quote. I accepted the $1,500 quote & submitted this to the warranty company which was approved. After the repair was complete I checked the attic during a storm & the roof was leaking in the exact same spot prior to the repair. I called KCG & they stated that there are additional leaks that need repaired for additional cost. I complained that these additional leaks should have been included in the original quote (which I assume is what the other contractor’s quote included & is why the quote was higher). I explained that the warranty company is very difficult & now I have to submit a claim for the same leak. KCG stated that they will help deal with the warranty company. So I scheduled someone to come out to provide a second quote to submit to the warranty company. The scheduled time was 9-11a. At 10:30a I called KCG to get an update on when I can expect the technician since I previously had an issue with timeliness. The receptionist said she would call the tech & call me back with an update. At 11:05a I did not hear back so I called KCG again. I was informed that the technician called out sick & that I need to reschedule the appointment. I complained that if I did not call about an update I would never have known that the tech was not coming & this is the 2nd time this has happened. KCG said that they cannot control when people get sick & that the roofing industry is busy & that people can’t always be on time.

Comments: I received an estimate then called to schedule the job. When they showed up for scheduling, the sales guy said that the first quote was not accurate and the job would be a few thousand dollars more than the original quote. He was supposed to give us a new quote but we heard nothing back. Basically we wasted three weeks dealing with them with no results. When they initially did the estimate they didn't even go on the roof...used satellite images to make their estimate. Dissapointed to say the least. Now it's been nearly a month now, and still trying to find someone to do the job. I can't comment on their quality or workmanship, as we never made it to that stage.

Comments: Sales people very courteous, Work started approx. 2 weeks after signing contract with crew doing an exceptional job. They completed the job 5 days later(rained out part of one day), a project manager visited work site at least once day. They cleaned up job site after completion, I am very satisfied with this company, have no hesitation in recommending them for replacing roof.
