Comments: They installed our new gas line. They were early. Got the job done and cleaned up after. The price was as quoted. I liked that they suggested running the gas line above the door instead of across the floor. This was much safer. I had not thought of doing it this way. The technician first put a camera in to check the drain, then cleaned out the drain, and put the camera back in to show me it was clean. The technician did great work. He knew what he was doing. Comments: This company is EXACTLY who you want to show up for your plumbing needs. The people inside the office are professional and courteous. The people in the field are timely and very knowledgeable. After going through 2 very bad experiences, I was recommended James Armstrong Plumbing by a friend and I will never call another company for my plumbing needs. James Armstrong unclogged a toilet drain line that was stuffed with makeup wipes that my daughter flushed. The clog was far down the drain from the toilet so they had to cut into the drain line to removed the clog. Our tech, Sebastian, knocked out the problem in no time and when they left, you'd never know they were there. NO mess. Incredibly great service and professionalism. Comments: I was charged an exorbitant price-$4500-for a job that wasn't done as promised. Supposedly, 66% of the under-house plumbing was to be done. (He spent approximately 3 1/2 total hours under my home. He needed refreshment break after the first 45 min of work). Twelve hours after this man left my home, water was backing up in my tubs. He was called back out. Then he charged another $591 to "unclog" the sewer line. The drain was STILL clogged. I had someone go under the house only to discover that he'd NOT replaced all of the pipes he said. There was a drain pipe that was new. I had to rent a rooting machine at Home Depot and get a handyman to run the machine to the street. The rental was only $77.00 for 4 hours. The operator & helper charged me $145. As of 8/14/20, my drains are still clear. Oh, and there was still a leak around the toilet and the short boot Armstrong put on. I'll have another plumber come out for those repairs. James Armstrong said his work was warrantied for 365 days. Not true at all. I consider him a con man and a fraud. Further, I was unable to determine if M-39428 is a valid or current license.-
