Comments: I have a hard wire smoke detector Arturo from JA Power Electric recommended replacing hallway to dual type, smoke detector and carbon monoxide type Also I changed another bedroom. To detector only. The cost for both is $249.00 plus $69.95 for service call. I checked internet and cost for parts was too high. Smoke detectors continued to beep and I called Arturo and he informed me beeping is normal. I had another person work on detectors. That person fixed the problem. No beeping in a week. Right side garage light lamp, still flickering with dull lighting? Maybe Improper installation. Left side garage light bright and good. Client bought all replacement materials. The contractor charged for labor to one light switch repair ($85) plus diagnostic fee ($39.95) other areas. Usually, once repairs are done, the diagnostic fee is not charged? I disagree with that.
