Work Description: Extended Stamped Patio

Comments: In July 2022 they did a horrible job on our patio. All sharp edges from the stamp so forget going out there barefoot, you'd get cut. The color was not mixed in and was applied after the concrete was laid, and within a week the concrete started to chip so that the uncolored concrete began to peep through the color. I have all the pictures and communications from last year to now to prove it. We gave them a referral to a good friend before we knew we had a problem, gave them a tip on joining a FB group to get more business and paid them as instructed. We were exceedingly patient given how we were treated! However, when we had a problem they ghosted us for months. I emailed, texted and called literally for months and I was definitely going to sue, UNTIL I reported them to the BBB, THEN we got a call in the Fall/winter of 2022. We scheduled a rip out and redo for June 2023 when the weather would be more cooperative. I will say the young lady I spoke with by phone was very professional, polite and apologetic. However, this redo wasn't without issue. We planned months in advance and all seemed well and I was encouraged, but within a day of doing the job they said the color we selected was NOW not available and every color on that row of colors was NOW not available. Because I was out of the country and they said my husband wasn't available, which I do not believe because he tells me a different story entirely, I said please just select a color for us that is closest to my original selection. You would think they would send me an email or text with a sample of the color so I could see it first. Nothing. I "still" don't know what the name of the color is and I emailed and asked last week and got no answer. I do not love the color it's gold and I selected a tan like color, but we will make it work. I just wanted to know what it was called.
They broke my fence near the gate and didn't fix it. The owner left a slack for us to replace it ourselves, and he did such a sloppy job working that I had concrete all over my windows, siding and outdoor planter box so they did not clean up behind themselves very well. Their Bobcat tore up our grass, it wasn't too bad but I was expecting it (The first time in 2022 they came after a lot of rain so the grass was soft and was so tore up we had to buy sod), This time he threw $40 at my husband and said buy yourself some grass seeds, like "he" was done. As if we are the problem here?? Really? I had my home power washed today and they could not get that concrete off the siding or the window/screens because it has hardened. We will get it fixed, but trust me I will share my experience with the world!!! I have pictures as well. The owner who was also working the day of the reinstall had the nerve to complain, jokingly I guess, about what the job was costing him or what he lost. It's not our fault that the first patio was done so poorly! That's you and your business practices! My husband had to miss work for 3 days to be there while they re-did this patio. We did not get ANYTHING extra for our inconvenience and the additional dollars we will have to put out to restore the area in the back. We lost money too and our time is valuable also. I never even got a copy of the contract I signed, nor a receipt and not even a thank you for your business and patience.. Thank God I believe in pictures and documentation of all jobs done at our home. The patio looks good (don't love the color) but it's smooth and safe now, But what sloppy business practices and poor customer service. Worst experience ever!!!
We strive to please our customers…there was no pleasing this customer. We were rushed to do the job initially and used a concrete company that we were not accustomed to using. The quality of the concrete was not up to par. Because we stand by our work, we informed the customer that we would re-do the entire job. We gave the option of doing the job immediately or waiting until spring in more optimal weather…the customer chose spring. Our team reached out to the customer the exact day we said we would to arrange an install date. Because this customer is exceptionally difficult, we asked that they both be present for the work to be done. When the team arrived we were told the wife was out of the country and the husband would handle everything. The husband was very pleased…he texted the wife pics and she was as well. More than a month later, the wife emails that she doesn’t like the color. We did our best to appease this customer. We have emails and pictures if anyone would like to see the lengths our team went to satisfy.

Comments: Today Mr. Mohamed Salahadin arrived with a quote to setup and pour concrete by our backyard gate and along the side of our deck. He worked methodically fast setting up his forms to our specifications. He finished showing true professionalism knowing his trade! After pouring, he meticulously set and finished with a beautiful broom finish and panned the edges to a lovely setting. Thank you, Mr. Mohamed, you have made our concrete project done with great satisfaction!

Comments: They worked hard to get the job done, unfortunately they left a garbage can full of trash behind when they left, to include parts of their lunch, empty drink bottles and concrete sealer container. These are just a few of the items they asked me to clean up for them after they left.
we work hard to please are customers… when I got a text from Busch about the the sealer left behind I did explain to him that that’s normal for us to leave behind just in case that they were going to put another coating on the stamp concrete. also my guy was there early in the morning helping Mr Busch to take out post that wasn’t in the contract out of good favor we didn’t get paid for that.

Comments: Mohammed was the best!!! He worked with me until we found the exact right placement for the concrete slab to support our swim spa. I would use International Concrete again in a second if I have any other projects. They were priced very reasonably, responded to all of my inquiries promptly, and were very personable and respectful.

Comments: The guys did a really good job; my husband and I are very pleased. They built a new retaining wall and fixed my walkway. The guy went above what we asked and came back to powerwash the remaining area to make it all look new. I highly recommend this company.

Comments: Mohammed was willing to take on a relatively small job for us, which some other companies would not do. He and his team completed the work in the time they said they would, and he followed up by text when we had questions. It rained the night after our concrete was poured and he came back to smooth off the finish and make sure everything was right.

Comments: Contractor is not responding to our communication after repeated attempts. Our steps are very uneven. Contractor has refused to make the situation right. We will be moving forward with small claims court.
Final payment is due after approval of our work. The customer approved the work and paid. The wife felt that although we were the lowest quote, they should pay less. The husband really liked the final product and service...the wife wanted money back.
