What about Good value? Should say GREAT VALUE. Yes, there are companies that will do it for lesser price. However, we are talking about professionalism, warranty, being licensed and insure and much more. What makes it Great not just good is their financing options. For instance I choose 10 months with 0% interest.

Comments: In May 2023, Home 2 Renovate, Inc installed insulation in the attic of my 100 + year old house in View Heights/Windsor Hills. From start to finish, I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff at all levels including the estimator, project manager (PM) and installers. I was on a tight timeline to sell my home; H2R responded promptly to my request for a bid and was able to complete my installation within a week of our initial contact. The installers were quick and efficient and did an excellent job cleaning up. The PM was especially helpful and provided 3 referrals to chimney specialists that I needed for another job. I would highly recommend this company.P.S. I should note that I don't know how H2R prices compare with other contractors. H2R was the first to respond and I was impressed with their proposal and under time pressure so I opted not to get other bids.

Comments: Our home had a major water damage with water leak into the wall for years and we didn't know about it. The process was quick and straight forward. We booked a consultation through Angi app. 2 guys from Home 2 Renovate came to my house and took a look at the damage. I already have a quote from another competitor so I know the ball park of the estimation. The guys were very knowledgable, not pushy at all. Though, I have to say the meeting was WAYYYYY longer than I expected. I was lucky enough to work from home so I can talk to them. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be able to listen to their pitch. The quote came out about the same as the other competitor. But the insurance, the knowledge and the add on services are far better. Also, they have 0 interest financing on the spot. Our damage was big, so we took it. Their team came and finished the project within the promised timeframe. I wasn't in the states when they finished the project. So everything after they started was communicated through email and phone. The project manager came often to check on the project and talked to me to make sure I'm satisfied. We had some uneven paint spots, and their team came back and fixed it right away, no question asked. Then we had some hiccups in the communication and they went out of their ways to fix it for me. Comments: The estimators were good, presentation was convincingly great.. paint materials to be used were discussed and show the thickness and quality to deflect heat (cool-wall product). However, when done, pain didn’t get even close to the presentation thickness seen during the sample material presentation.Assistant manager came to discuss additional wood needed , not even looking thru the entire balcony, standing still staring at small rotten wood , and tag a price for additional 8k. When I told him to stop the work , he then brought it down to 4K (just for a piece of beam?)
I told him I have to discuss with wife, but he wanted me to sign, so he was trying to put guilt trip on me saying he drove all the way down to our place to check… I said, that was a cheap way of excuse since it is his job to be present when needed, and the replacement of rotten wood was part of the original project for 14k already… he wanted to make 8k more.
Project manager, shows up but doesn't inspect if the materials being used are according to agreement. The annoying part towards the end was, he was trying to make me sign off the project even the workers still have lots to do, so he won’t have to comeback the next day. And he did not do a walk through…

The father and son workers (George and George) are good and very professional and knowledgeable on what they do and needs to be fixed/do (very recommendable), as well as Sebastian the estimator who took time to measure and inspect for a close to accurate estimation.
The PM seemed not knowing the scope of the project. Coming to the site not knowing what the estimator has prepared. That’s why the outcome, though looking good, was missing the expected cool-wall looks we signed on during presentation.
Another thing, I asked for a minor change, the PM called the owner and I heard him say without measuring, to charge another 1k. I did not go for it.
We are Senior Citizen, and feel like, if not taken advantage, taken for granted what really needs done…
The funny thing, coincidence maybe, after all the complaints, and sour discussion/texting, and after the project was finished, my suburban was egged .. I never had this hate-experience in 20 years living in this nice and decent neighborhood… maybe random act, but fishy; we live in a col-de-sac, and whoever did it must purposely targeting my truck… they had to turn around to get a good angle for strike.
The bottom line, besides the workers. I think management and owner are irresponsible and not paying attention to detail AND OVER PRICING. We paid almost 19K for the exterior-over-the-garage-balcony project and the deck-flooring replacement was not even included…. A riff-off

However, this is why referrals are so very important; for my second window quote I was put in touch with Alex at Home 2 Renovate. From the original handshake, the thorough quotation and the hierarchy at the company providing samples to my HOA (for their approval) to the installation of the windows and sliding door, it was painless and stress-free for myself. The install itself was an eye opener; the guys worked fast & efficiently, and really knew what they were doing, even on my second story windows. Comments: Terrific! We had sat with reps from Home2Renovate, discussed all possibilities to repair/replace needed areas and this company made it happen. Two previous contractors worked on the sunroom, adding 'bandaids' to fix the problem - a leaking roof - but never fixed the problem. H2R showed us what was done wrong by these other two contractors and resolved the issue with the leaking sunroom. Further inspection of the house roof showed deterioration of the roof (twelve years old) and we hired H2R to strip the old shingles and underlayment and replaced with new materials. No problems since and we've had rain here in Harbor City many times since the repair and replacement. We would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of any roofing issues. Comments: We felt comfortable hiring Home 2 Renovate for our new roof based on their thorough presentation of their company’s philosophy, history, accolades and roofing materials. This was our first big purchase and decision as first time home owners, which was daunting, but the guys (Alex and Kyle) at H2R were easily accessible when we had questions. Also, our city was very difficult to work with and were giving us trouble with pulling permits for our roofing project based on another permit issue that we encountered when purchasing the home. H2R went above and beyond in communicating with the city and advocating for us. It was an issue we were trying to work out with the city for almost a year; with H2R’s diligence, it was settled in a few weeks. Also, their initial estimate of costs was pretty spot on with our final project cost. We definitely felt that they had our best interests in mind as home owners and a family and weren’t just trying to make the next sale. Comments: Sales The Good: My rep, John, was extremely informative & friendly. The demo was very thorough & barely left room for unanswered questions. The Not-So-Good: for an initial quote, I set aside 30-45 mins during my lunch hr. A full hr later, I let the rep know that I needed him to wrap up. He pretty much ignored multiple future requests for him to wrap up & give me the quote. In total, he spent 3 hrs in my home. I ended up skipping lunch, lost 2 hrs of work & was late to an appointment. H2R almost lost my business based on this alone. Also, I don't respond well to the "hard sell" - I welcome information & a fair quote. I then need time & space to consider it & do my own research to make a decision based on the value proposition & the resources I have available. I didn't appreciate having the sales rep make multiple calls to his boss in front of me when I was visibly stressed by the chunk of my work day this person had already taken up. Suggestions: Cut down on the demo or at least speed it up. Be respectful of your customers' time & when they ask you to leave, do so (it was very uncomfortable for me to have a man remain in my home after asking him to please wrap up & go multiple times). However, remain enthusiastic about your products & services. The knowledge of & pride in your company was much appreciated Project Management The Good: I received multiple checkins from a total of 3 PM's. Steve completed my re-scope, Jonathan did multiple drop-ins to check on progress & see if I had any concerns, & David came by toward the end of the work to check in on me & do my final walk through. My overall feeling from the PM team was that they were pleased to have my business & my concerns were important to them. I had a quick freak-out about color early on & Steve responded quickly to prevent the ordering of paint that I might not like, Jonathan checked in to make sure that I'd received a response, & David came by with a swatch book to get the final color decision from me. Very well done! The Not-So-Good: as with most PM teams, communication can be a challenge. On the start date of my project, I was clear that I wouldn't be home until the afternoon, but the crew showed up before 9am anyway. By happenstance, I did come home very early that morning, but I certainly wasn't expecting the crew to be there only a couple of hours after I'd arrived at home. They worked with me & I even received a call from Alex to clear it up & set a better start time. My peeve though - both Steve & Alex talked over me multiple times as I explained what had happened. In addition, another Sales Rep showed up that day under the guise of a QC check. I was polite & welcomed the info about windows, but was very clear that he needed to leave at the hour. He still did the "call to the boss" in my home, & I was still late getting logged onto my conference call. Suggestion: things go wrong in communications. It happens, but when it does, allow your customer to feel heard. Also, don't send a sales rep to my home under the guise of QC. However, remain concerned - your efforts to accommodate me that morning went a long way in building a positive foundation for my interactions with the crew & other personnel. Crew The Good: I can't say enough about the work ethic on these guys. My father worked in carpentry & engineering for a combined 40+ years, with an eye for detail that was frustrating. I thought no one could rival that. Enter my foreman, Tito (short for Roberto, which ironically is my father's name too). He & Jose were respectful of me & my property, beautifully detailed, & consulted with me on key decisions. They were also mindful & considerate, mitigating the inconvenience of having work done on my home whenever possible. Part of what they did for me was replace the damaged foam frames around my doors and windows - the work was absolutely gorgeous. I could go on and on... The Not-So-Good: Honestly, nothing. If I work w/ H2R again, it would be mainly because of my experience w/ this crew. They not only made this experience tolerable, but truly added value to the price tag. I've added before and after photos - my home was an ugly, faded brown with damages to the wood, foam framing, and stucco. It is now this gorgeous grayish blue, with clean lines, no cracks, and beautiful texture.Los Angeles CA

Comments: FIVE STARS, an “A” for HOME2RENOVATE! My brother and I requested estimates from various licensed contractors to renovate the exterior of our 88 year old home. The existing exterior paint was peeling, the walls were uneven with cracks and the wood window trims were rotten. Basically the exterior was a big ugly mess. HOME2RENOVATE representative, Phil Shaffer, was very professional, informative, friendly and provided us a very reasonable quote. We felt comfortable to sign the contract the same day. The work started almost immediately. Our main contact was Jonathon Gonzales, the Project Manager (PM) which was on site every day, gave us daily updates and addressed any concerns, which were minimal, given the efficiently hard work of Ignacio Cruz (Carpenter) and Ivan B. (Painter) among the PMs excellent crew. The job was completed within a very reasonable time given some rainy days, the crew did a thorough job cleaning up and the quality is AWSOME! The house looks better than new and will remain this way with the HOME2RENOVATE warranty. At first, the job promised appeared to good to be true but HOME2RENOVATE actually under promised and over delivered which is very hard to find anywhere nowadays.
