Description: Heroes Lawn Care was founded in 2012 by Taylor Olberding and Mike Marlow with the goal of giving the community a trustworthy lawn care company. Taylor and Mikes location did it all from lawn mowing, snow removal, and Christmas light installation. This made the most sense when first starting out to stay busy. Now moving into the franchise world, these services have been cut back to focus on irrigation, fertilization, and pet waste removal. These three service lines all have major emphasis on creating and maintaining a healthy lawn year round by giving the customers lawn exactly what it needs.

Work Description: Lawn Sprinkler System-Repair
Comments: We paid over $500.00 to get a leak repaired and according to their assessment we needed 5 sprinkler heads repaired, even though we had had someone from the city of Fort Worth inspect our sprinkler system and he had not recommended those heads be replaced. So we ended up paying $500.00, which was about $150.00 more than their estimate and we still have the leak that we had hired them to repair. First of all we were told that they would be here a certain day and late in the day we were called and said they had run late on another job and they would be here the following day. Same thing happened the following day. Communication was not very good between their crew and us. They would arrive with no phone call to let us know they were on their way. They would leave and not let us know if they were gone to lunch or done for the day. They were here for two days and both days they were gone by 2pm. First day that worker was here and getting ready to leave, he wanted us to pay him up front without the job being completed. He told us he’d be back either the next day or the following day, no specific day or time. Glad we didn’t pay up front as they were unable to take care of the problem we initially hired them for. So bottom line, we paid $500.00 for replacement of sprinkler heads and another leak that was found, but they were unable to fix the leak that we had hired them to repair. So we are still dealing with the leak and will have to hire someone else to get the leak repaired. In my opinion, they should have started with the leak that we wanted repaired instead of replacing the heads that more than likely didn’t need replacing. Overall very unsatisfied with the way this company operates. Would not recommend this company to anyone.
