Comments: I regret to post this, but as a consumer I appreciate honest reviews which aid me in making good choices for my family.I contacted many paint companies in our area to request bids to repair wall cracks, redo texture in three rooms and paint three rooms. It took weeks to coordinate schedules to receive four bids.
Mr. Hahn, owner of Hahn Painting spent more than 45 minutes in our home. We thoroughly reviewed the scope and details of the project. He spent a great deal of time convincing me of his many years of experience & on jobs in our area. He emphasized being a Christian (& even grabbed my hand & prayed with me before he left - you can’t make this up!).
Mr. Hahn called me and offered a competitive bid, which we later accepted. We received the detailed agreement via email.
Promised start dates were changed twice.
To prepare, my wife and I:
Moved furniture; Moved decorations, pictures, electronics, etc.; Moved kitchen items; Moved refrigerator items to outside fridge. This took hours.
On the morning Mr. Hahn was to (finally) start the job, he brought his employee and informed me that they were going to do a “job walk-through” before commencing.
Toward the end of their “walk-through,” Mr. Hahn appeared to lose his temper and yelled “I’m not doing this job!” This he yelled twice.
He told me he would not do the job. I was in disbelief.
I reminded him about our agreement, the wait time and our preparation efforts. He didn’t flinch or apologize.
He finally said he underbid the job. He said he would do the job for $2,000 more! (a 70% INCREASE over the original contract
& 40% HIGHER than the highest bid!)
...still in shock!

Work Description: He has done everything from handyman stuff to minor electrical, built some decking, cosmetic work, built some wall, installed steel stairs, and more.
Comments: Jim does great work. I would recommend him to anybody.-
