Work Description: Back splash, shower rebuild, install recessed lights.
Comments: Contractor showed up on time. Homeowner provided material. Sergio Montero bought needed supplies from Home Depot. Home owner reimbursed cost. Contractor kept left over supplies after customer bought them. Did a good job on the back splash, very pricey on installation cost. Contractor did a shower tear. Returned the next day to haul away waste and prep for the rebuild. Charged 1500 dollars. Took away excess materials, however left all the glass associated with the shower rebuild. Rebuild was a larger shower so excess glass not needed. Home owner bought all faucets and parts,. Against my better judgement I gave a check for the 1500.00 dollars, stated he needed half to start. I talked with Sergio on a Thursday about him looking over all the purchased items. We agreed on Saturday, I have not heard back from Sergio since. Does not return my calls. Bath in a mess and torn down, will have to find a new contractor. Went by the office on his business card in Fort Worth. Not a business but a residence. Will be taking legal action against Sergio Montero and Gutierrez Tile and Marble. Definitely would not recommend. Regret not using a credit card so I could dispute the charge. Since they were hesitant on giving a reciept, should have followed my instincts. Do not use this company!

Comments: This was a fantastic company to work with. The came the day I asked for a quote, and they began the job within an hour. They completed the job the next day, it was absolutely beautiful. They cleaned up the area when they were done, and now we have the best looking family room in Arlington . They are fast, and good at what they do, they advise you when you request something that is going to be an maintenance issue later and let you decide if you really want to do it. I had requested mosaic strips on the steps and was advised it would be an issue with the tiny pieces breaking off when someone stepped on edge, thank you for that advice. Anyone wanting to speak to me for a reference with this company is free to contact me. I highly recomment them, price, quality, respect of homeowner and their home was excellant.
