Comments: Fox & Ruiz Concrete did a metal roof custom brick and stucco on my new home he built. He did all the interior and exterior work without subcontractors. Everything was done in house from the beginning / excavation/ sewer to the paint and carpet / flooring being installed. He helped me immensely with the design and permits. My family and I have our “forever home” thanks to Paul Fox and his team of awesome qualified employees. They became family thru the process and finished on time. They did all landscaping , driveway, sod, sprinkler system, etc. They are doing a parking lot for my brothers business in Detroit right now as well. I will never call another contractor / builder/ construction , landscaping, and concrete company again other than him. They knocked this out of the park. Call Paul @ 248-595-6183. Comments: Fox & Ruiz Concrete LLC came out to both my house and business the first day I talked to Pauly the owner with an emergency. We originally went with the cheapest company/ option and had to do a full tear out / concrete replacement of both projects with Fox & Ruiz Concrete LLC. Pauly came out and went above and beyond from calling me back within seconds of reaching out, taking a lot of measurements faster than all the other companies all while talking to me about the specifics of my jobs, was by far the most knowledgeable about the jobs/ ?’s I had of the other 3 companies I spoke with not including the original company who got the work and he gave me a written and digital quote for both jobs before he left minutes after measuring. My husband and I spoke in great lengths and chose Fox & Ruiz Concrete even though they were the most expensive by $1,850 on the residential job and $4,500 on the commercial project. Mr Fox / Pauly told us “you get what you pay for & you learned that the hard way and if you hire our firm you won’t have any issues”. We definitely made the right decision because it turned out perfectly on both jobs. We Highly recommend Fox & Ruiz Concrete to you, our family, and friends. We actually hired Fox & Ruiz to build our daughter an approx. 3,000 sq ft. home once we found out he’s a builder / full service company who doesn’t sub contract out work like most builders. My husband and I highly recommend you call/text (he responded promptly to both) Pauly at 248-595-6183 if you need concrete work or any other work done. He told us he tries to work outside during warmer months but works inside if it’s worth it & on rain days. He’s very straightforward and will tell you the truth even if you don’t want to hear it which we really respected. They were by far the most professional , showed up on time when they said they were coming or called / texted saying they were running late, and delivered the best concrete work I've ever seen. We had them do our basement this past winter from start to finish also a huge project and they knocked that out of the park as well. I can't say enough good things about everyone in the company they were so respectful and always made sure we were happy with every little detail. Comments: I would have never hired Paul if I read this beforehand https://www.michigan.gov/ag/consumer-protection/consumer-alerts/consumer-alerts/home-health/building-and-remodeling-advice-for-homeowners.Company is registered in Milford but he uses Northville location to mislead clients. According to LARA neither he nor his business has contractor license. He refused provide me the one. The quality of his concrete is unknown. He refused provide me with invoice for concrete.
He dumped the mix of dirt and concrete on my groundcover and I had to use sledge hammer to dislodge it. He reduced the size of my approach without telling by 15% and then blamed me that I did not stop him from doing this. The list goes on.
UPDATE 5/1/24
In September 2022 I contracted Paul Fox to install driveway. The details are provided in the previous comment under the name "Vladimir". Today I found out that Paul Fox provided response to my comment. This response is absolutely false. Fox & Ruis has never finished the project. I had to finish it myself. The concrete they installed is cracking. They refused to prove me with any invoices for concrete. They lie that I contacted them several months after the project. I contacted them immediately and pointed to their failure to perform.

Comments: We had a unique situation. We travel full time & need a place to park our 40ft 5th wheel & our semi that we pull it with. Both are very heavy. We recently sold our house to our kids so we decided to get a slab to park on next to the garage. We also have a circle drive that has grass in it that would get torn up when we drove over it. On top of the concrete slab, they put road grade gravel in half of the island.The work is beautiful! The crew is all very friendly & work well together. He gave recommendations on what I would need and how it should be placed because of the length and weight of my 5th wheel. The cement work turned out great! Paul called me as soon as I put the request in and scheduled a time within 1 day to come meet my wife and I. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and he brought his business partner Jose who answered every question we threw at him. Paul designed everything and Jose executed everything perfectly. I was very surprised that the owners were working along side the crew they brought. They all worked really well together. They finished the driveway and patio in 1 day and came back to cut the following day. They also finished the basement within the time frame they gave us. They came and saw the way my bathroom was in and they told me not to worry that they can do it and get it all correct in no time. I will say I was skeptical at first due to the pricing and his eagerness. I'm beyond ecstatic that I went with them cause they just left a lasting expression and knowledge in getting everything done at once. My wife and children can't believe that it's the same bathroom.
