Comments: I had connected the new pool motor and wired it up incorrectly so it tripped the breaker. I reset the breaker but the motor still didn't work. So I called G&D Electrical LLC because they had such great reviews. George Came Checked Motor; Fine. Checked breaker; Not fine. Turns out I had tripped the main breaker also. He insisted on wiring the motor for me. He was full of interesting conversation. Took him 35 minutes total, billed me for the hour. But It was worth it Job well done.Would use nobody else

Comments: I submitted the RFP to electrician networx on a sunday at about 9PM. Imagine my surprise to get a call about 20 minutes later from George asking about details about the project. Due to George's enthusiasm, I awarded G&D Electric with the project.Over the course of the job to trench, lay pipe, and install electric, several times George and Juan went above and beyond their job description, from helping me break up an unexpected 10ft of concrete to sticking around and priming the pump when we had everything hooked up.

Comments: George and Juan repaired a 40 yr. old electrical box. The box is know as the green alien. The box was used in the 70s and has a spade clip connection (two piece box). The first consensus was to replace the entire box at a tune of aprox $2300. George and juan came to my home and inspected the box and set-up. After an hour of discussion they came up w/a plan to do the repair and keeping in the UL standards. 2 days later we had the power co shut down power and 40 mins later they were done w/the repair. My total cost for a Sunday visit and 2 man repair w/parts was $625.00. I cant thank George and Juan enough for the great job they did and the money they saved me. Comments: G&D Electric is an A++... I had a situation where Progress Energy had billed me for over $600 of usage, even when my house was empty for the billing cycle I was getting charged for. What I did then was to bring in a friend of mine, not licensed electrician, to test all electrical outlets, fixtures, appliances to see if there was an issue causing the high usage. Well, everything appeared to be working fine. So, I called Progress Energy and they pretty much where calling me a liar and also were claiming how their meters were 99.9% accurate and they were not adjusting my bill. That is when I decided to contact a licensed electrician, so I can build my case against Progress Energy. When I submitted the request on-line for a licensed electrician to contact me G&D was the one to contact me within a few minutes of submitting my request. I explained to them, George, the situation and he gave some advice on what to do. Well, to make the long story short, I was not charged by George for the advice, which by the way resulted in Progress Energy adjusting my bill down from $600 to $46. By the way, their meter was found to be faulty, which they tested because of the advice George gave me. Someone else would off taken advantage of the situation, but G&D didn't. George made no money out of me that day, but he definitely earned a customer and a good reference. Thanks to George and G&D for the honesty and good work ethics. Hard to find contractors these days with such valuable qualities.

Work Description: The wire that had burned inside the circuit breaker panel causing the water heater to malfunction. This wire was trimmed and re installed. This wire had burned due to a lose conection at the breaker.
The technician went ahead and checked all the other breakers and ensure that they were properly secured.
George and another technician showed up promplty as agreed, took care of the problem, cleaned up the are were they worked and left.
George also contacted me in the evening to ensure that everything was properly working. This is the first time a contractor has ever followed up after a job has been performed, the norm is that once you pay them, you never hear from them unless you have to call them to complain about something or if you ever need them again.
My experience with G&D electric was excellent and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to have the job done right with professionalism/honesty and at a fair price.

What they provide is a rarity..... they worked around my schedule and when they had an emergency, they still worked with me to accommodate my schedule. Hassan could not have been nicer, more polite and considerate. He was extremely efficient at taking care of all the projects I had. He was also very careful to pick up every little piece of paper or dirt from each project and even asked for a damp cloth to wipe down the new (but dusty) fan blades before installing them. The price was also extremely reasonable. Anyone needing an electrician, this is the one to contact!

Comments: I ended up not having to hire G&D, as George talked me through what to check to see might be the causing the problem. He said that he would rather see me not pay him the $65.00 service call, and use the money to buy Christmas gifts for the kids. If I couldn't get it, then he would come out. I found that very rare and refreshing. When I have an issue I can't resolve, I will be hiring G&D, based on the way he treated me. Punctual phone calls and e-mails to see if I was able to fix the problem made me feel like he cared.
