Work Description: Replaced faucet

I responded, almost immediately,to the lead. He was surprised when I told him I would come out within the hour, tried to make a repair of the old faucet, but was unrepairable. Told him I would be back, the next day,to make the necessary repairs.I cut out the old faucet, installed a new faucet, ran all new piping, and shutoff. He called me that night, and said, he thought it was awesome, and was very happy with the job, it makes me feel good ,when I have happy customers!

Work Description: Hired to consult on uneven airflow to different areas of the home

Comments: Cane unprepared to do the job ( didn't have a tall enough ladder to gain access to my attic. Gave a couple common sense suggestions ( make sure vents are open...) then basically took my 75$ check and left. Unprofessional and ill equipped to do the job. Totally unsatisfactorily experience. Said if my mom duct work needed to be overhauled would be 2500-3000$ without even going into attic area. Complained how hot it would be... Really? I trusted him because he appeared on your website which assumed meant he had been vetted. Will never make that mistake again.
I'm sorry if you feel I didn't come prepared, but your cielings are higher then normal,i attempted to go into the attic, but you told me not to try,I told you I could come back with a taller ladder but I guess you didn't want to wait, since you were already up in the attic, I asked you a few questions about the ductwork, that you seemed to know, a little about it.I asked you if any of the duct work was disconnected, you said no,I asked if know about the dampers, with the handles on top,you said yes, you saw them;I asked which direction were they facing, you said they were going longitudely or same direction as ductwork, which means there open, so now I know your getting, full airflow through each duct.Which doesn't make sense, since your not getting good airflow at the end of the run. Then I asked you if the trunkline,is all the same size,or does it tapper down, through the run of ductwork, and you told me it was all the same size, which tells me most of the air flow is being taken by first few rooms,so I told you, you would probably have to change the ductwork,so it tappers down to end of run, to get proper air flow.I told you to adjust the vents in the first couple of rooms halfway, and fully open vents at end of run, to get better airflow for now.you asked me what it would cost to repair the problem,I gave you an estimate of $2,500 to $3,000 that was just an estimate,I couldn't give you an exact price until I go up into the attic, to see what the problem is,which is what I would have done,if I came back with a ladder.Respectfully!

Comments: Richard did a terrific job and his prices were always modest. I intend to have him do more work for me in the future.
