Work Description: Installation of new oak floor in remodeled kitchen as well as re-sand and re-finish previously finished floors in living room, dining room, hallway and stairs plus closets x2. New floor in kitchen to match existing old oak floors.
Comments: After obtaining several estimates and being told that there was no way to "match" new floor in kitchen to existing oak floors in adjoining rooms, we contacted Fardig Construction. Mr. Fardig measured gave us an estimate, which was less than previous estimates, and told us that he could in fact "match" the existing floor. Needless to say we excepted the proposal. Mr. Fardig came and laid the kitchen floor, perfect. The workmen were on time to do the sanding, worked all day, taking only a short break for lunch the first day. The second day light sanding and poly. Arrived on time and short break. Third day final sanding and poly x 2 coats. Unbelieveable. Not only the quality of the work but the work ethic was exceptional. The floors came out beautiful. Now we have a great flow to our open floor plan and all the floors match. We have recommended Fardig Construction to our in-laws and other family members looking for quality work on thier hardwoods. If we ever need any type of wood working again we will not even hesitate to call them back. Great job and the clean up was minimal.-
