Work Description: Kitchen Remodel
Comments: We hired Exodus Homes to remodel our kitchen. The experience started off great but quickly soured for several reasons. The gentleman that represents this company does not do the work like we wre initially led to believe. He hires out third parties. The job was to remove a wall between kitchen and living room, install new cabinets/countertop,install electrical sockets,two pendant lights,etc. When the job was "finished" we noticed several obvious places that needed touching up and a wire hanging out of the ceiling. We had the city electrical inspector come out and he was appalled that a HOT wire was hanging out of the ceiling AND they had a HOT wire that they enclosed in the wall!!! Fire risk!! Throughout this process "Esra" was very curt and actually cursed at my husband when confronted with these issues. They did not complete the plumbing uner the sink as paid. They left the plumbing underneath the house to just run out. They tried to cut corners everywhere.The job was "finished" in Oct 2022 and in Feb the ceiling where they removed the wall and "reinforced" started showing stress cracks/minor sagging...2 months after that the cracking was spreading...todays video shows the ceiling is majorly sagging. When confronted about this issue "Esra" acted unprofessional and nonchalant and tried to insinuate that it wasn't his company who did it. Who else removed the wall? No accountability and no business etiquette whatsoever. So, BEWARE. We have proceeded with legal action against this company. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I hope I save someone a headache.-
