Comments: Emerald Hummingbird landscaping is phenomenal to work with. When it rains for days or hours we will have sitting water in certain areas of our backyard/side of new home. Wanderly recommended 2 French drains in the areas where excess water was pooling.The team came out the following week, installed the drains, backfilled it with topsoil and sod.
With ongoing landscaping maintenance we haven't had any problems with pooling water near our patio or foundation.
Wanderly communicates via texted once the service are completed with an invoice.
It is a pleasure to work with Emerald Hummingbird Landscaping for weekly yard service. We have one of the best looking yards in our neighborhood!

The subcontractor company did a poor job installing the French drain. So I hired Emerald Hummingbird Landscaping to rectify the problem and Wanderley and his employees did exceptional work in reinstalling the French Drain. Comments: While the company’s lawn mowing and debris clean up was fairly good, we had a terrible experience with the drainage repair they did. They ruined our lawn by placing the French drains incorrectly, making matters worse not better. They also created a safety hazard for my husband and I who are disabled and ruined our grass. Then, when they tried to fix the French drains, they didn’t grade the ground properly and created additional safety issues for us. We were trying to wait it out and have them fix what they ruined, but the company new we weren’t happy and parted ways with us. It isn’t worth the aggravation of going through small claims court, but I’m leaving this review to hopefully spare someone else from having a bad experience.Huntersville NC
