Comments: My name is Antoine Walker. I worked for direct improvements from dec. 2023 till April 5th 2024. I’m the one on a couple of reviews on here. As an employee I was scheduled to receive my check on April 4th. A day before I quit. I was also scheduled to receive my final paycheck on April 18th. I did not receive any type of payment from the 4th of April or the 18 until April 25. Only because I had to call the department of labor and only received half of what I was owed. The owner (Thornell J Hunter jr) would have me driving vehicles with no tags on them no brakes. And would break down every other week. There were plenty of nights he had me working till 3am and wanted me to start 8am the same morning. Would try to schedule me to work on my off days. Would ask me to bypass safety switches suck as the main limit, blower limit, pressure switches, and rollouts and charge the customer for like we fixed the issue. I’ve seen him charge customers for parts they did not need only to replace them with a cheaper quality parts, not replace the part at all such as igniters capacitors blower motors and flame sensors. The owner will misdiagnose issues and charge customers for his misdiagnose. He tries to fix parts instead of replacing them and charges customers for new parts, such as Inducer motor wheel and stringer kits/ elements. This man does not care about his employees nor his customers. All he cares about is paying off the house he bought in Florida. Comments: Easter Sunday emailed for steam pipe and boiler repair - received call that afternoon- repairman arrived on Monday, ahead of schedule -- by Tuesday morning repairs were complete.
