Work Description: Installed complete heat pump system in my main residence.
Comments: This past winter my outside old GE Weathertron heat pump unit died after 35 years of great service. We relied on the emergency heat until this Spring when we decided to get serious about replacing the entire system.I did a lot of online research about the different manufacturers, the internal components they use, and the warrantys provided and in the end I decided the best value was the 16 Amana Seer Heat Pump and its matching inside two piece air handler. I got three estimates on the job and Delta was the lowest estimate. I would not automatically take the lowest bid if I did not feel comfortable with the people doing the work. Before signing with Delta I met both Tom and Vikram. I was impressed that they did not try to get me to change the models I was interested in and in fact had researched the models themselves and were aware of what was necessary to get the lifetime outside unit warranty. They were well prepared with the paper work and after speaking to them regarding their experience I decided to contract with them for the job.
They performed the work on Memorial day, and did a very good job with the installation. They were on time, put down floor covers to prevent mess and damage and worked hard till the job was done. They then come back a few days later to check to make sure everything is working as it should.
I would not hesitate in recommending these two gentlemen for any residential HVAC job.
I live in Northern Virginia and now enjoy the quiet comfort and lifetime warranty (of outside unit) of my Amana Heat Pump.
