Description: Robert Duff has been a successful member of the contracting and investment industry for more than fifteen years. He began his career working for contractors in the Washington, D.C./Baltimore metro corridor, doing construction and remodeling. In 1996, he formed his own investment company, Brass Lamp Properties, purchasing and rehabbing single family units in the Baltimore area close to his then, center of operations. Brass Lamp Properties has owned as many as twenty-one single family homes and continues to purchase and rehab properties.

In 2003, Rob and his family relocated to Chester County, PA. In 2006, he formed Cost Rite Improvements, a home improvement and remodeling company serving customers in the Chester County area. Cost Rite Improvements completely remodeled (from gutting to complete interior rebuild) two row houses in Chester County and a suite of offices in West Chester. In addition to the rehabs, Cost Rite Improvements did kitchen remodels, porches, bathroom remodels, custom tile work, custom deck construction, and numerous small repairs.

Most recently Rob has been working to develop green rehab and energy efficiency expertise in order to pass these skills on to clients.

Rob closed Cost Rite with his long time partner and refocused his energies in two directions: primary property management of his investment real-estate and his new venture, Rob's Jobs. The new company focusses on small jobs that can be worked on an hourly basis (time and materials) and completed with one of two visits. Landlords are great customers for Rob's Jobs.
