Comments: Honestly, if I could simply just give a review with a rating I would. I was looking for someone to do my patio. I wanted a stamped concrete look. I did some research and found Concrete Vida. I filled out the online info form and the next day I got a call from Edwin. He was polite and asked what I was looking for. he asked me where i was located and i gave him my address. I obviously was needing a simple estimate for a small job and hoped he could come out to take some measurements. He made it a point to tell me that he lived in Kendall and he didnt want to "waste his time" driving down south and that if i could provide him with measurements of the area i wanted the work done or my address so he can do the aerial measurements. This all was on Friday May 17. At the end of the conversation he just said he would be out Wednesday and that was better because honestly I wanted to also discuss options and designs if there were any. Anyways, wednesday came but he was a no show. Not a call or text. I was super busy anyways so i just let it go and hoped he would call to excuse himself or reschedule. Nothing. So sunday i shoot him a text saying i never heard back from him and he never made it out on Wednesday as agreed. He replied that he was overwhelmed with clients and again asked if i myself could send him the measurements. It had been pouring for 2 days straight. I told him when it stopped raining i would. but he replied that he'd just pass by (tomorrow, Monday) He never came by Monday. by them i had already found someone else. So around noon (12.48 pm to be exact) Tuesday i got a text asking if i was avaible for him to stop by and give me a quote. I always like to compare so if he was actually going to come by then that was fine, so i said yes. Again i sent him my address, and again he mentioned he lived in Kendall (i dont get the purpose of it but business is business and honestly i dont live far from Kendall I drive there all the time im located just before the Redlands off eureka and 137th ave. NOT THAT FAR from Kendall. it was almost 3 and i needed to step out so i asked him what his eta would be to see if i had time he said he'd been here in roughly 30 mins so i waited. at 3:15 he called me that his gps was telling him an hour and again telling me he lives in kendall and that he did NOT want to waste his time driving down and to just explain to him what exactly i wanted and give him the measurements. My patio curves and i never took the measurements because 1. If i am wanting to contract someone to do work, they should be willing to make the effort to go and take to right measurements themselves if they actually want the business and 2. i wouldnt know how to because of the layout. I firmly said Forget about it, that i would find someone else since i wouldn't want him to "waste his time". at that point i just decided to let my children ride their bikes out front and about 45 minutes of being outfront and black silverado drove slowly by my house and parked under a tree to the side of my house. It was Edwin. He clearly had no problem wasting his time to make the drive all the way down to my house and never even got off to introduce himself and excuse himself. If that isnt a waste of time and gas, Im not sure what is. He is a creeper and a joke and very unprofessional.
