Work Description: Gas Furnace Boiler for heat in water circulation . Ignition was not happening but gas was still flowing.Comments: John was on time and quick. diagnosed the issue and identified 2 parts with issues.
Neither part was available from John's suppliers for our 24 year old burner. Rather than search for parts we opted for a replacement. price with installation was very good, and John scheduled for next day.
john showed up on time. work was very clean.
After John left we noticed whole house was not heating (6 zones). Burner was hot and we could hear the flames but no sound from the water circulating. John offered to come right back but we were on our way out.
John came back next day, right on time.
We quickly realized the circulator was too quiet. A quick retightening of the connections and on came the circulator.
He rebled the radiators, some still had a lot of air however once we were done, water circulated to all of the zones and we are nice and warm.
John was polite and professional all the way through and we will be using him for our central air as well.
Work Description: Diagnose problem, and ultimately replace, home CAC unit.Comments: Comfort Solutions was able to replace our old CAC unit with one that met our needs and budget and did so very quickly. John responded to our call right away, and offered more solutions than the other contractors who we met with.
Work Description: Found and sealed a leak near compressor and recharged the system. Tested.Comments: As a small contractor, the service was more personal. He did not immediately try to sell me a complete new system, which several previous companies estimated. He was the only one that opened the unit and found the simple problem. My only complaint with air conditioner services is the exorbitant price they charge for Freon. They mark it up from 5 to 10 times their cost, which is where they make most of the profits. Most of these services try to inflate the repair charges and prefer to sell an entire new system first.
