Work Description: commercial remodel
Comments: Wish I'd read these reviews before hiring Joel. The remodel was poorly done, over budget, and when he hit us with the final bill before being finished he threatened to take legal action against our landlord.Our bathroom will need to be entirely redone, our countertops are all peeling off, and we need to hire a new painter.
Joel intentionally bought cheaper versions of the furniture and items rather than what was specifically requested and pocketed the difference. When confronted, every time (and there were lots of times), he would act flustered and take forever to get the correct item, and we would have to hire people to patch the holes left by whoever he had come for the sloppy reinstall.
Now that I've threatened small claims and online reviews he told me, "if you need to do that, knock yourself out, buddy." This is me knocking myself out.
Stay away.
