Work Description: remodeling
Comments: Where to begin? Let's start with the fact that we hired this contractor from Angie's List 12/2021. We were looking to remodel the kitchen, main bathroom, half bathroom, replace interior doors and have interior/exterior electrical work done. I want to be clear in stating that this contractor has impressive skill in all the aspects needed for our projects. However, he was misleading in his ability to complete our projects in a timely manner and provide finished product. He informed us that it would take him and his "crew" three weeks to complete everything except the kitchen. We went through five months of no calls, no shows, back orders, car trouble, hospitalizations, COVID, a shower base being held hostage, gas lighting emotional rollercoasters. His "crew" consists of himself an occasionally one other person. Of the five areas he worked on in my house only one area is 100% complete. If an area was left at 75% or even 90% guess what...it is unfinished. There were two additional areas he worked on as compensation for some major inconveniences. One out of the two areas is complete. The other is damaged due to it being left incomplete. Recently my main bathroom started leaking into the half bathroom and we advised the contractor since it states in his contract that he guarantees his work for two years and will come back out to repair any issues. To date he has not returned. IN CONCLUSION: yes he has the skill set for the job. He DOES NOT have the manpower needed to complete projects in a timely manner and drags everything out as long as humanly possible. This contractor left multiple projects incomplete and has not returned (as written in his contract) to fix problem areas as a result of his work.Collingswood NJ
