Work Description: Fence repair, ceiling fan installs, bathroom fan installs, storm door install
Comments: Our experience showed that Banny's Construction does not follow through on the work they accept. They do not communicate pricing effectively, communicating costs the day they arrive to do the job, and any task will take much longer than it should. 3 days to install a storm door, incapable of reading basic instructions, and we are having to have another contractor fix their errors. Fence posts not cemented. Overcharged for materials, and never provided receipts. Misquoting on pricing, which could have all been resolved if they provided line item proposals in a timely manner. In the end, they walked off the job site, claiming it was creating too much anxiety for them. In our former home, we had 2 bathrooms fully remodeled, tile and wood flooring installed, and a 20 point punch list completed in the time it took the same size crew to barely repair a fence, build 2 garden beds, and fail to install a storm door, and simple refuse to install the fans. They were on site for 4.5 days.Custer WA

Work Description: Part bathroom remodel
Comments: Walter, the owner of Banny’s Construction bragged about his work so much that I chose him to work on my bathroom between the few contractors that were referred to me.Aside from him asking to get paid with cash for his work and bumped his price half way through the work, I had my worst experience with his plumbing job.
He messed up replacing a shower and spout for my tab. The two were poring water when I only wanted to use one. I couldn’t use the spout without the shower poring on my head. I noticed this problem at the end of the work and after he got paid with cash.
Walter told me in order for him to fix the problem, he would charge me again. He would not want to stand behind his work and kept saying I don’t have proof he worked on it as he never provided me a contract to sign.
He stopped responding to my phone calls and messages when I asked him to fix the shower.
I had to hire a plumber to come fix what he screwed up and was told the whole plumbing work was incorrect. I was also told he used incorrect joint fittings that connect the pipes to the toilet and mortared around it so if I get a leak there, I have to break the tiles to have the problem fixed.
I’m not sure where he got his license but he is not qualified to do any plumbing work, aside from a lousy tile work he did for me.
So much for trusting a local independent contractor with license.
