Work Description: Landscaping
Comments: Beware of Black Diamond LandscapingWe hired them to do a landscaping job in our back yard. They provided a quote and stated the job would take 1-2 weeks to complete. 6 weeks later, here were the results:
-6 of the 10 shrubs they planted died within 2 weeks
-they state they guarantee their trees and shrubs for one year but did not honor that guarantee
-We paid several hundred dollars for them to install a pool float that they did not install
-curbing they laid cracked within days
-paid to have crushed granite in 3 locations. They applied a very thin layer and hauled away over half what they brought and we paid for. Within 2 weeks, as the granite settled, the drip system they installed was exposed in multiple areas along with the weed barrier
-They damaged our gate
-Left oil stains from their vehicles all over our driveway
- the owner, Wes Bicknell, becomes verbally abusive when you question work or complain
-on one occasion, the owner stated he did not have the money to complete the work until he was paid from another job
- they rarely showed up as scheduled or promised, and do not return calls unless multiple attempts were made to contact them.
-The other owner, Casey Leon Wiggins, made several promises to correct but did not follow through and ignored phone calls and text messages made inquiring on when/ if she would complete. This was fairly standard practice for her throughout the process.
I do not recommend this company and caution others to be very careful when evaluating whether to work with them. Check the BBB, Yelp and other review sites in advance of considering them.
