Work Description: Planting, Clean-Up
Comments: I hired Jaime for a $15,000 job. The first few days started out great. We have a really big yard - needed along street cleared out of weeds and old edging (not done). Needed large area inside fence cleaned out of old monkey grass & vine cleared & new sod laid. I was impressed he sent the grass that was delivered back and found new grass. Since he "completed" (that term is very loose bc he never completed - I just wanted him gone and got tired of his lip service. Much of the monkey grass has come back up - it wasn't dug out like I expected. I asked asian jasmine be pulled back from all trees in a circular pattern - a few were done. As far as plantings his crew (he rarely showed back up unless I bugged him about meeting - needed to do this daily bc things were not being done correctly - they basically pulled old plants and stuck new ones in - I'd asked all beds be worked (which any landscapers i'd hired in past always did), good soil added and turned into bed - NOT done. What I caught I had them pull up and re-do - I was babysitting his crew. His young nephew - nice kid - enjoyed being on his phone - constantly. Finally I had it and told him to either begin working or leave. Oh, and that $15,000 job - add another $7000 - I got screwed. He seemed a little surprised I asked him to remove all the large tags on our new plants - not done. I wish I'd cancelled the last check I wrote and had him back over to adjust his bill correctly. I went off a recommendation of a friend - her job was small which I guess he did a nice job. He had no clue azaleas have to be planted in azalea mix (pine bark mulch) and was just sticking them in the ground. He's rarely at the job, his guys aren't well versed in knowing how to really work beds and plant. These was work left undone which he promised several times he'd be by to finish - surprise - never done. I would not recommend Amigo Landscaping - dishonest and don't know what they are doing. One star is way overdoing what I'd like to give.Allen TX

Comments: He quoted 1750 for one tree and grinding stump. I told him low bid was 1500. He thought about it and said that things were slow and he would do it for 1400. I gave him the job. But after he had started he tried to change the price to 1700. I refused and he is now dragging out the job for a week. Don’t trust him.Frisco TX

Comments: Had a bad experience with Jaime the contractor. Jose the person that built the fence did an awesome job. Jaime failed to pick up all the trash left behind. Have pictures if needed . I had to take old fence and trash that was left behind and material that also left in backyard to front of house.UPDATE 11/19/22
I hired Jaime through networx to replace a 6ft fence to 8ft with two 9 ft long gate doors. I paid Jaime over 7,000.00 for the job. I have been trying to get Jaime to return and my gate doors. And Jaime refuses to do the job and to top it off Jaime wants me to pay him 2,500.00 to come and fix the gate doors the way they should have been done in the first place. I was told by Bruce with networx to do a good review if the issue was taken care of but it has not been done. I regret doing business with Jaime. REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH JAIME.
