Work Description: Central A/C - Repair/Service
Comments: You need to remove this company ! He arrived at almost 11 PM in a car with 3 other men. Entered my home smelling to high heaven of cigarette smoke. I had just had heart surgery and needed AC. I was actually scared to let him in my home. He said I had a bad circuit board that he could by pass temporarily until he could get the part. He also said I was super low on Freon. He charged me a total of $700.85. This included the charge for the circuit board and the install that he had not done yet. He was supposed to come out the next day to install circuit board. He told me my coils were dirty which they were as I had obviously been ripped off a few months before by someone that I had paid to clean them and they obviously had not . The next day I called him and he said he had a job to do and couldn't get the board but could come out Thursday. I had to work on Thursday so we scheduled him to come out on Friday. Thursday, my AC stopped working completely. The other thing I noticed was that he did not use a scale when he supposedly added Freon to my AC, charging me $300 for the Freon! From what I understand there is no way he could have known how much he added without using a scale. If he added anything at all!I called someone else to come look at the AC. The heat was killing me. Come to find out, the circuit board was not bad at all and there was no evidence of him bypassing anything like he said he did, charging me a service call plus labor! I actually needed a whole new heat pump system. I did not trust him at all anymore and was very upset. I called him and cancelled him coming to install a new circuit board, told him what had happened and asked him to at least refund the $165 he charged me for a circuit board. He said he would put the check in the mail that day. He did not. That was on Sept. 27, 2019. Today is 10/10/2019 and I still have not received the refund. I called him last Sunday and he said he would check with his office and see why it was not sent. I strongly feel that he doesn't even have and office or staff in an office. I will continue to call him and will take him to small claims court if he does not refund my money. I have since looked at his Facebook page and Yelp for reviews and found he did the exact same thing to other people. I also checked the Better Business Bureau and while he shows a BBB logo and certification on his page, he is not certified by the BBB and there is a complaint about that on the BBB site. He has not responded to the BBB letter because it was returned to them. If you want your site to be a place that people can come to to count of, you need to kick him off of this site and take whatever steps you can to warn people about him. How do you even recommend anyone like this? Do you not do any research before recommending people? I hold this site responsible as well!Biloxi MS
