Work Description: Heating smell GAS

Comments: TS COMFORT were sent to my property. They could NOT figure out where the smell is coming from, TS COMFORT also said there is infestation & mouse dropping . So I called Gas company they pinpoint that the gas is leaking from FURNACE CONTROL BOX,I contacted my home warranty they asked me to call TS COMFORT. again I called them, they said there is infestation we cannot work on those condition, then I called another company they did not find IMFESTATION OR mouse droppings, they fixed the gas leak & they left in half hour. TS COMFORT is the worst A/C company. Never go to these guys.
Yes there were dead rats, droppings and used glue traps. No I was not willing to crawl around in any amount of rat droppings or around dead rats. No I am not willing to put MY health at risk to make a dollar. I have 25 years experience in the HVAC field and I have encountered many things in attics but this was at my limit. Sorry you don't understand and YOU are not concerned with other people's well being. Happy for you you found someone to go in and fix it. As I explained to you on the phone our company has had an employee get sick to the point of almost losing her life from contact with rat feces. But it's not YOUR life so why would you care? I wish you the best and I have no regrets not sending our employees into an unsafe and unsanitary conditions.

Work Description: A/C "repair"

Comments: This company is the recommended HVAC provider for my home warranty for reasons that I cannot fathom. I have had them out to my house on three different occasions and each time they leave, my air conditioner is worse than when they came. Just yesterday, they installed a 4 ton coil on the internal unit when the external unit only has a 3 ton. Any HVAC tech worth their salt would know that this will only cause problems further down the line. Furthermore, the larger coil was too large for the original housing, so they had to modify the housing to accommodate the larger, inappropriate coil. Guess which part of the service wasn't covered by the warranty? Yep, the modifications. On top of that, when welding the copper line, they didn't protect the other parts of the line and ended up melting a stopper, which caused a leak. All of this in the middle of August in Houston with an 8 month pregnant wife.

I have a strong feeling that did all of this to ensure repeatedly having to be called out again and again so they can bill either me or the warranty company.
You should READ your contract that you agreed with your home warranty company. It clearly states any modifications are not covered. They sell a policy that covered ALL charges but apparently you chose the cheaper policy with less coverage. It's unfortunate you did not take time to understand what you purchased. Maybe you should upgrade your coverage and read your policy before another major incident. 1st visit was not from our company, we came second visit for second opinion, 3 Rd visit to install evaporator coil that home warranty shipped to us. They sent us exact replacement of what was there before. We don't upgrade or downgrade coil sizes, your warranty company ordered part according to the model and serial number of the existing coil. Bigger coils are a common practice because they make system more energy efficient as it gives more surface area for the cooling function. Yes our HUMAN installer did make a mistake and there was a leak but YOU refused to give me Access to correct. I , the owner ,offered to come back within 3 hours of install and immediately after talking to you,YOU refused. Unfortunate You spent another hot night but it definitely wasn't because we were not willing to come back immediately! Wish you the best, happy you got it fixed! Upgrade to better warranty to avoid future non covered charges on repairs. Thanks all comments are definitely appreciated and will be used for training!

Comments: The tech showed up an hour late and reeked of weed. The tech spent 10 minutes looking at the outside and inside unit, taking pictures to submit to my warranty company. T & S took 24 hours getting the pictures to the home warranty company because they were using a free email service that limited the size of the files being sent. I was able to discover this by looking at the return error message they were receiving, while they sat back and assumed it was being blocked on the warranty company's side. Once the pictures and report was received my AC claim was denied because T & S had claimed that the coils were caked in dirt and needed to be cleaned. I contacted Spring Woodlands Air Technicians (281-705-6401) who were able to get a tech out to my house in 20 minutes. The tech spent 30 minutes checking the system and found that the coils were not dirty at all, the AC unit had a leek and was 3LBS low on Freon.
T&S Comfort Specialist is a Micky Mouse AC company at best with techs that do not do their job, do not show up on time and lie to get you to have to purchase items that they can bill for that are not under warranty. Avoid them like the plague.
