Work Description: Leak from the toilet
Comments: Requested a service call through AHS after noticing water in the garage directly under where the toilet was. Mitch , our service tech, explained what the possible reasons were. After checking out the toilet he found that the wax ring was not installed correctly when the toilet was originally installed. He replaced the ring and the leaking has stopped. Comments: I requested a hot water heater replacement. Mitch was the technician that came out. He was very professional and paid attention to every detail. Work Description: Replace garbage disposal
Comments: This company was dispatched by American HomeShield to replace my garbage disposal, replaced an In-sink-erator Badger 5 with a cheap Mainline disposal. The wires are not installed to code and water drains extremely slowly. The tech that installed came back and said nobody would notice the wires and the water will eventually drain, thought he went out for tools but left. The owner called me and scheduled to have another tech come and repair, then canceled without notifying me and told AHS that an electrician is needed. Can’t believe I’ve wasted over 2 hours on phone calls, taken 2 days off work, paid the $100 service fee and still don’t have one of the most simple home repairs completed! For about the same money I could have gone to Home Depot, bought the mode that was here and had it installed in about 15 minutes.-
