Work Description: Sod replacement

Comments: Greg is very nice but unorganized. He works out of a van which is odd for a landscaper. He showed up to look at my yard very fast on Saturday afternoon. I wrote him a check for half of the job ($925). The next morning (730am) while driving to church a check cashing company calls me to verify the check! Why doesn't he have a checking acct? Then on the day he was laying the sod, he asks me if I could pay him in cash so he can pay his workers! That tells me they must be day laborers! He said he would start the next day. The next day I had to call him, and he said that he had vehicle trouble. He showed up the next day and roto tilled the area himself. When he showed up with his workers, He had to leave them to pick up sod with his van. The workers either did not care or didn't know what they were doing. The ground was not leveled before laying the sod. Some sod was laid on top of other sod and over concrete! Sod was not edged neatly. Instead of starting the sod laying at the sidewalk and working up into the yard they did it the other way. They laid the sod in a circular pattern towards the walk. This caused it to have gaps and cut pieces by the walk. It would have looked neater the other way. I will work with the gaps. If someone from Networx would like to come inspect, please do. Do not send Affordable landscape over, I am done with them.
FYI - I've done landscape work and know how it should be done but due to injuries I am unable to do it now.
