Residential remodels and repair, garage conversion, floor leveling, new flooring

June 2011, reinstated my license, 569719 and remodeled a unit in a complex in Venice. Managing the framing, drywall, countertops, tile work on floors and showers. Currently have a 2 million dollar Liability policy, current $12,500 contractor bond and workers comp to be paid with State Fund when a new job will start through Hunter Ins.

2009- 2011. I have worked as an Advisor, Project Manager, Lead carpenter or consultant, on various construction projects, home repair. TI remodels in South Bay, metal studs and T-bar, drywall and paint. During Sept and Oct. of 2009, I was hired through an agency to supervise remodeling by another contractor of Chase bank in LA of demo, and oversee new bank design and floor plan,to change from WaMu to Chase . I worked on five locations, managing sub contractors and oversee work, and meeting with branch manager. Various home repairs or rehab of REO homes for clients or investors.

2007-2008 Detail framing and sculptured ceilings framing and pickup framing to correct previous framers mistakes in house in Brentwood. I worked directly with the architect on the plans and changes that was a Spanish light design. This consisted of elliptical radius arch in the hall ways, all doorways were detailed with beveled radius arch for windows and doors to be installed. Installed all the custom radius windows and weather proofed. The square footage was 5,000 and I ran a 5 man crew. I also remodeled bathrooms and kitchens and other smaller construction jobs for people in LA and Brentwood

2005-2006 Worked on a carport retaining walls, and storage area in Hollywood Hills, built into the side of a hill, below the house. Removed the existing parking area, excavated the soil (100 yards) dug the footings, installed the rebar, formed and poured the concrete stem walls, slab and retainer walls, did the roof framing , block wall and detail work. Worked with other small repair and framing jobs in the LA.

2005 I framed a single family home 3 story hillside framing over block walls and ledger beam drilled and bolted to the block walls, for another general contractor, in Glendale-Eagle Rock area. Worked with two carpenter/laborers and I managed or supervised all aspects of the framing. I also completed a variety of smaller jobs in and around LA.

2003-2004 Remodeled rooms 24 of a 36 room hotel in Redondo, doing demo, bath and room remodel, installed crown molding, with one helper, also repaired or replaced doors and fixtures. For other clients, I installed brick pavers for driveways, and patio, wood fencing with a wide range of remodel requests throughout LA and South Bay,

2003 I remodeled a friends rental unit and improvements to house, in Hermosa $50,000 worth of floors, doors, molding and kitchen cabinets. I also installed the crown molding rebuilt floor joists and flooring on raised floor area. I installed new cabinets, doors and windows with casing and base molding and travertine floor.
2001-2002 I remodeled a home in Lomita where I added 1200 square feet to the kitchen, dining area and the upstairs bedroom, bathroom and front entry . I supervised demo, of the roof and back of the house, set forms and poured concrete, framing, drywall and custom modular cabinets, with trim and crown molding. Installed Anderson doors and windows with casing and trim with 4-5 man crew, Value of job was $300,000

2000- 2001 I remodeled home in Fremont Estates, where I removed the roof and front of the house and added master bedroom on second floor, and bath. Several years prior, I installed a new kitchen with Maple modular cabinets and radius trim and crown molding the doors and window, with trim and casing. The new kitchen and master bed and bath, value was $275,000 and using a 5 man crew or sub-contractor. Also, TI metal framing and drywall for high rise in downtown LA, and LA county.

1997-1999- I did remodels and room extensions throughout L A, some commercial work and tenant improvements in high rise buildings, office space. Remodeled a home in Santa Barbara for , the home owner, raised the foundation, poured a slab, framing, drywall, set cabinets, trim, casing and base molding, doors and windows, and did most of the work myself with a few laborers assisting as needed.. , $120,000 job

1994-1996 Remodeled 12 homes from earthquake damage, in Northridge, Sherman Oaks, Beverly Hills, and Santa Monica, mostly repairs, replaced windows and doors, kitchens remodels, stucco and paint. Worked with a 4-5 man crew or subcontractors.

1990-1992 I would manage and coordinate my crews with remodeling and tenant improvements for office space at homes and business in LA and San Fernando valley. Worked as a lead carpenter framing a 10,000 square foot home on the top of Mountain Gate for Paul Staubach. Worked with a 7,200 sq ft home on Benidict Canyon doing detail work, entry way, room details and finish framing.

1988-1990- Moved to LA and worked for an Architects/Gen in doing earthquake retrofits on brick buildings. Worked with contractors and clients doing room additions, doing demo along with frame and pour foundation, framed walls, joist and roof for Don Koppel Also poured and finished concrete steps, sidewalks and driveways when needed.

1984-1987 I framed 43 homes, 1,200- 2,700 sq ft. for 4 builders, 3 homes for Mangano Bros at The Lakes, and framed com. Bldg in Visalia, ca La Petite Academy, 7,000sq ft day care. Complete concrete & framed metal buildings for sizes 40 x60, 60x80 ( in Cambria for IGC), 30x90' and riding arena 120'x 125' with 22' eve and 3' foundation piers, with dirt floor, for DeGroot Dairy, most of the metal buildings constructed in central CA, Visalia. In 1986 started Actra Construction, lic 569719 and is still current.

1983- Started lic 422061 and remodeled the Del Arroyo Mobile home park rec. center in Hanford, CA. 50K job, 5 man crew, for Don Christensen, AAI, & framed Colinga Hotel

1977- Bach.Business Degree from Sacramento State, in Marketing and Real Estate
