Work Description: Roof/ceiling repair
Comments: o not waste your time with this company because they will waste yours. Gordon Wilson lacks even the most basic of communication skills. After stating he would honor a year old quote, which I thought was great, everything went downhill. Monday he gave the quote and Tuesday he was supposed to come back and discuss the payment options. However, he had to cancel last minute on Tuesday. Came back on Wednesday, unprepared, with his laptop supposedly not working. I decided I’d just use a credit card, no big deal. He said I didn’t have to pay until the entire job was done, so I thought ok great. He said they could start the work on Friday before it rained over the weekend. Said he would email me a tentative schedule for all the work to be done later that night. Never did. He called me Thursday morning at 6:15 AM and asked if I was the dumpster company. He said sorry and that he mixed up phone numbers and that he’d email me the schedule shortly. Never received the email. I emailed him Friday morning, never received a response. So I called and left a voicemail Friday afternoon. He called me back a little while later apologizing for not getting back to me sooner and said he had a family emergency. He then said since it wasn’t going to rain until later in the day Saturday it would be better for him if they could come Saturday morning at 8 AM. I said I was understanding of his family emergency and that I was ok with them coming Saturday morning instead of trying to squeeze it in later that day. He said he would give me the interior work schedule when they got there in the morning. Well, they never showed up Saturday morning. No call, no text, no email, nothing. I waited until 10 AM to call Gordon and of course he didn’t answer. I left a voicemail and never heard back from him. This clown wasted a week of my time when I could have been looking elsewhere for my repairs. Instead, now I’m stuck with a still leaking roof/ceiling, and having to wait another 2 days for Monday to come, when I’ll be able to get other quotes.UNPROFESSIONAL & INCOMPETENT
I can only imagine what this says about the kind of work this guy does. Perhaps I dodged a bullet....
