Comments: I received a call from Vince immedietly after putting in a request here on Networkx. He listened to the issue and walked me thru how to fix it, saying he didn't want to send someone over and charge me for something I can do myself. He was very patient and I was able to get everything working again with his help! I would have to replace the ceiling fixture and he even told me what to buy, AND called the next day to check if I needed help installing it. Not only did I save a bunch of money, get my electricty back on quickly, but I also learned how to fix the problem myself. Its amazing and awesome that they would do this for no charge. Steve kindly answered the phone at 1am and was able to walk my husband through a solution in about 10 minutes. Comments: The company fielded my initial call on a Sunday--response time was very short--with my request for a Tuesday morning site visit noted. Mr. Steve Taft called early to insure somebody would be home and arrived 30 minutes later. Steve has a pleasant demeanor and quickly assessed the situation, quoting two different ways (and price levels) to get the job done. My project was completed in less than three hours, including removal of the old fan from my home. I am at a loss to explain how I could be more satisfied with how Steve handled the whole situation from beginning to end. His services were very affordable compared to other electricians in the area but it didn't affect his level of service. He actually concluded his work by sweeping up some debris off of my laundry room floor and setting up both my washer and dryer! I was very pleasantly surprised. On top of that, he only charged me the minimum amount out of the estimated range that he initially quoted me over the phone. I feel like I should have tipped him. I am certain that I will call him for any of my electrical needs from now on and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a qualified electrician for any job big or small. I described the problem, he asked a couple of questions and then suggested that we could save money if someone was somewhat handy because he thought it sounded like a fairly simple problem. He offered to walk us through it over the phone or come out, if we were uncomfortable doing it ourselves. We chose to try and it worked. We saved quite a bit of money by taking his advice and he didn't charge us anything for giving it!
