Work Description: Furnace/Heating System - Repair/Service
Comments: This was the worst service I have ever received. The tech named Russell came to my home to assess the water heater. The following occurred over the next 3 days:.A) Russell insisted on trying to repair the water heater even after I told him it was leaking, wasting valuable time. He came in his private vehicle and never showed me ID for the company he represented.
B) I wrote Russell a check for $250 bcuz he did get my boiler working again. On his next visit I wrote a check for $1600. He wanted the checks to pay to the himself (no last name), nor acknowledging the company he represented. I gave him $300 in cash to avoid tax charges on the water heater.
C) He arrived at the house hours later than the time we scheduled for. The 3rd visit he didn't come at all. It took many phone calls before I received any response from him.
D) Russell asked a lot of personal questions such as, "How long have u been in the house?"
When he saw an autobiography of Michele Obama on my coffee table he felt entitled enough to question me who was reading the book . He also questioned me a out a documentary I was watching on TV, he asked about my car garage and my lawn mower. No tech has ever presumed to ask such questions before.
E) After his 3rd incident of no call/late, escalated into a no call no show I told him not to bother and come back.
Russell called back apologizing but bcuz of all the above I didn't want any more to do with him.
This technician was totally unprofessional and I would never recommend his company to anyone.
